Remarks

I was allotted this college through BCECE-UGEAC counseling for JEE mains examination score through. Admission is done through BCECE- UGEAC. You have to appear for JEE Exam first and then fill an application form for UGEAC. Once the merit list is published then the choice filling is done and followed by a counseling round. All this mainly happens in July Month but due to pandemics no schedules are followed. refer their official website only for information.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed by AKU, Patna, and is more about the same as another engineering college in INDIA. The current ratio is around 1 faculty: 15 students. 80% of faculties are through TEQUIP-3, MHRD, Govt of India. They all are either Ph.D. or M Tech holders from IITs or NITs. They are highly qualified. Their teaching method would be around 8 in 10. Exams by now happened timely only if we exclude a few regulations because of a pandemic. If you study you will pass with good marks.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided to 2nd and 3rd-year students from MSME mostly, and few software companies. Students are participating in Hackathons and working on startups these days. MSME Bihar Govt is in partnership for internships for 2nd year and few 3rd-year students. We are currently interning in through a virtual internship in collaboration with AICTE, NASSCOM.

Placement Experience

By far, 3rd-year students sit in drives and placements. But from this year 2nd year is to doing good and planning for internship and various pre-placement offers. Last year, the Highest package was given to 3rd (now 4th) year student of 15 Lac per annum from Cisco. Other few students are placed in Capgemini and all. The average package is 4 lac per annum. only half of the students sit in placement as most of them are inclined towards higher studies or Government jobs so even if they receive offers, they reject it. I want to be an IPS officer just after passing my college in 2023. Apart from this, I want to work too in MNC as a cyber security specialist in Software developer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions Fee: Reg fee (AKU) - 2100 Rs one time only 2400 Rs 4 year - Development fee 700rs 8 semester - Exam fee for general obc, for sc / st its 700 rs 8 sem. The total fees for 4 years are around 40,000. You can avail scholarship from the Govt of India if you are eligible. College just has to approve u as a student on NSP portal. Till now, our college doesn't have a very good placement record. But for the last 2 years, students are placed in a very good place. In 2021-21, 1 student have received 15Lakh per annum fr cisco. Others have received 4-6 lac per annum. Students of DCE mainly forcus on higher studies/government jobs, so few of those reject the job offer

Campus Life

There are 2 annual fests organized in College. Books are available in Library, and students can avail them on their cards. We have just shifted to our newly made building, so everything is coming on line. Cricket tournament are organized by students for all eng college. We have currently 1 club running in our college.

Here safety is good and warden is very active in night and day shift too
Here good ratio on boys on girls and both treated equally by all

Dislikes

The mess quality should improve it need improvement
A little inside in city so for enjoyment we need to travel more
Hostel is old need maintenance tooo and additional changes

Placement Experience:

Placement is average like 5-6lakh but all depends on you if you are skillful then can get any amount in placement. Many companies visit here and you will get many chances and offer with right skill .many started own startup too with guidance of professor

Environment, management, campus and college
Premium institute and a proud university from where studies of agriculture started.
It's huge campus full of greenery and parks and gardens

Dislikes

Network other than jio. Only jio sim can be used here.
Food is not expected sometimes specially those are from Bengal and orisa.
The price of every substances is higher than anywhere. Specially in the complex.

Placement Experience:

On the basis last year data the agro buisness management got 100 percent placement. And the average placement got 6lpa. Most students go for higher education in premier institutions from here. And some are go to foreign for their studies.

My college experience

Likes

I like the way that the teachers taught is very efficient for the students.
I like the campus because it looks nice as compression to other government colleges
I like the calmess of my teacher because it taught very peaceful way..

Dislikes

I dislike because no any sports are played on our college in big level..
Only 10 to 5 classes are held .so it feels booring
And our college placement rate is very low so I dislike my college

I passed jee mains and my percentile was not so good so through ugeac i selected in this college ...only teaching is nice and good in our college but extra curriculum vitae are not so much developed.. Ya the exam time was also very delay in our college ...now our current session is also delay..

A short description of BIT MESRA OFF campus PATNA

Likes

Fests are moderate sports event are good to go
Have good library there we can basically study
Gymnasium is also good average gym to go

Dislikes

Small campus area there is not much area to roam
No night life hostels gate closses at 10:30 so after that you can't roam in the campus
Mixed ground for everything there should be seperate ground for cricket football volleyball and badminton

Placement Experience:

Placement are not that bad or good it totally depends upon the students of that batch so we can't classify it earlier the placement were pretty decent but due to Covid the placement scenario has been distributed but then also it's recovering sonhope in the future the placement would again be descent..

Fess ,faculty, rules and regulations all are the things that makes th college one of the best resource for student to study in very less amount with best faculty present in a good environment
Taken care of metal health of students by doing various programs
Various exhibitions and enough opportunities for a student for showing their skills in exhibition,speech, deabtes sports,etc.

Dislikes

Campus is very small lack of big playground and campus space
Regular classes at not held due to lot of examination centre of semester
Windows glass are broken and there's no one to take al the responsibility for re construction all the false present there

Placement Experience:

7th sem students are eligible for campus placement. There is traning and placement cell that guide the students and train them as well for placement interview Higher package reaches uto 20 lpa and lower stays uptop 5-7lpa Almost 70-80%students get placement

Campus of the collage is too good because evergreen with lot of trees.
Teachers of the collage are friendly in nature and talented too.
Lab of the collage are also too good with appropriate lab asistant.

Dislikes

The food provided by the mess in not as good as expected.that doesnot fulfill our needs.
There is no any medical facilities are available in the collage.
Collage campus is not neat and clean because irregular facilities of cliness

Placement Experience:

Students who are only dependent on this collage for placements have no future . They have to gain extra knowledge and also have to dependent on government jobs. They should have to fill government examination forms also . Because collage provide no more than 5 lakhs placements.

Likes

Firstly we went college for engineering it was dream for anybody so we are blessed to persue this course
Second Hostel that most amazing experience for both boys and girls
Third and last experience with internship sports and enjoy with friendship for treking experience

Dislikes

Anybody can tell same word its Assignment is workload
Lab oo god its complicated long hours we working for practical
Last but not least its Professor who are very rude

Its very fine lots of placement held in our college and maximum students placed in different different companies through campus placement coordinator I am also placed in companies but i clearing my gate exam preparation i didn't join the company

Likes

The crowd here is good, peoples are here from different parts of the country but most of them are from patna and Bihar itself , but overall the crowd is pretty good.
There is exposure for many cultural as well as technical activities. Many events take place in the college which is surely a good point in considering this college as it gives you the opportunity to interact with different people's.
Mess food is up to the mark as compared to other good and reputed colleges

Dislikes

The college campus is too small, there are very few places to hangout. Expected much more with this college.
The professors of chemistry are keen to fail students in the semester exams . The faculty here is not that good.
College rules are so much strict, not allowing food after 7:30 Pm for the first year students , not letting them go out after 8 pm.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the 5th semester, Companies including Infosys, TCS, Accenture, tata, and many more visited and total of 240 offers were made in the year 2023. There was a 33 lakhs offer from paypal too. Highest was 33 lakhs from paypal and 32 lakhs from Amazon 60-70 percent people gets placed My plans after getting a degree is going into software field

Likes

there is lot of time to prepare for other skills ,classes are not scheduled in hurry.
the professors are super friendly , we can ask doubts .
the location is nice . station and highway are nearby

Dislikes

some interference in hostels of academic staffs
student find tough in organising events .
the college road gets muddy in rainy season .

Course Curriculum Overview:

there is not too much workload so you can work on yourself ,thats the best part of this college . there are new subjects introduced and they are revised so that we can prepare for real world problems . more competitive events should be introduced and they should be reviewed . exams are not that difficult but you have to study to pass. there is enough time to prepare . the exams are scheduled after 6 months . there is enough gap during exam also.

From 7 th semester students are ready to take campus placement,and from 5 th sem students are ready to take internship , Google, Microsoft,Amazon all big companies came here , Height package is 16carore last year and avg package 14 lpa last yr
