Types of Internships in KIET group of institutions, Ghaziabad

This college operates under AKTU university, Lucknow, so the admission process was according to AKTU. I got around 6000-7000 rank when I gave UPSEE exam, I only wanted CSE branch, for colleges, I was eligible for almost all the private colleges like KIET, AKG, ABES, JSS, Galgotia college, etc. But, I chose KIET because of two reasons: (1) It is near my house . (2) It is academically strong and almost all the students of CSE branch get placed. So, after receiving my UPSEE rank, I had to fill my college and branch choices online, I filled KIET college, and CSE branch at the top. I was alloted this college. Next, i had to go to the college physically to submit fees and complete my registration and other documentation. After that, my admission was finalized.

In the KIET group of institutions (I am talking about CSE branch), The faculty is very helpful, You can go to any teacher about any problem and even if he/she couldn't help you with the problem, they will tell you who to meet for that specific problem.. The curriculum is according to AKTU, so its old, but the extra classes (not under aktu syllabus) confirms that no student lacks behind in terms of technology due to Old Syllabus of the University. The department prepares us for the interviews, Coding rounds, and all other rounds that are required for grabbing placements.

There are various options to choose from in terms of internships. Students basically had three options: (1). Departmental internship: This internship was offered by the respective departments and various internship heads were assigned to the students who chose departmental internship. (2). Industrial internship: the college collabrated with big tech companies like IBM, cicso, etc. to provide internships to the students. this type of internship was nore valued by interviews in final placements. (3). Outside internship: In this type, the students were free to go anywhere for their internships and were not guided/disturbed by the college/department.

I was in CSE branch and in that department, everyone was very serious about placements and future plans. The department conducted extra classes every week to improve the technical and social skills of the students, like verbal ability, Presentability, and other skills. This year(2022 batch), one student gas already got placed in Myntra for 37 Lacs per year package. and till now, there are 15+ students having 20+ lacs per year package.

College fees are Rupees 119299 per year without hostel and an extra 90000-110000 for hostel depending upon how many people will share the room. If you want to live in a room alone, It will cost 110000 hostel fees per year. If you want one roommate, 100000 hostel fees. If you want 2 roommates, then 90000 hostel fees per year. Education loan is available.

The life at KIET group of institutions is one of the best college life one can have in an AKTU college.. Firstly, when you first arrive at college in the first year, you will get a fresher's party, in your first month(August in my case). The annual fest is conducted every march. A celebrity is organized and it is really fun to attend. The library is one of the best ones out there. All the books, Journals, Novels, can be issued by students. The sports club is very active, it regularly selects new students and engages them in sports like cricket, football, etc. There are many technical clubs like KODERS and many nontechnical clubs like Kavyanjali, nukkad Natak. and Some social welfare clubs also like Uddeshya.

The hostel room was a very average type, I was sharing the room with one of my roommates, so there were two single beds, two tables and chairs, and two separate almirahs. The food was healthy and always edible. If any day students find the food non tolerable, then they can complain to the higher authorities and the quality always improves after such incidents. Also, on some special occasions like Holi, Diwali, the food was very special like a party.
