Sri ramaswamy memorial Entrance Examination. I got a Rank under 50000,i chose it because I heard that its the no.1 private university of India. And the curriculum is not so difficult to handle.

Course structure includes all the general courses like Engineering English, physics, chemistry, Maths, Engineering Maths, Thermodynamics, Thermal Engineering, Computer aided design, Computer aided Manufacturing.But there are lots of Electives like Industrial Engineering Industrial safety, Professional ethics ,DFMA etc.

Yes, Lot of companies like Tata motors, HUL, Sain't Gibson, Soctronics etc come but student has to go through selection process. Only the students who pass the selection procedure are eligible for the Internship. And the college provides all the necessary help to avail the students with internship.

There are lots of technical and non technical SYMPOSIUM. There are lots of technical and non technical CULTURAL EVENTS,these events does enhance the credentials of the students to a great extent, the events are named As MILAN, ABHIGYAN, KRATORQ. All these are national level events and are described in the certificates provided.

Fees structure varies for various programs. For btech it was 250000 per year for management quota and 18500 by counselling. For M.tech it was 200000.And for management also it was 200000. Comparing to other universities it is quite expensive.But I think it's worth it.

Yes, I am being provided with Scholarship every year. I am getting a fees waived of 50 percent of my tuition fees. There are different kinds of Scholarship offered like merit based, sports etc. The scholarship of merit based does reach up to 100 percent fees waiving for deserving candidates .And I have friends who have taken loan as well to students.

SRM believes in the concept of "UNITY IN DIVERSITY". There is no gender discrimination made in any field.Lots of competition s on Robotics etc are organised by the management through out the year. And there are lots of sports available with lots of competitions taking place in each semester.

Exams are divided into Cycle test 1, cycle test 2,model examination,surprise test,practical examination and final CT 1 is 10 marks, CT 2 10,model examination 20 surprise test 5,attendance 5 which makes it quite comfortable and are not thrown at once. Dividing the exams makes it comfortable for the students.

They are all ME or Mtech qualified.T here are lots of SENIOR as well as young staffs. There are lots of female staff as well.All the staffs are so much interested in helping out students.Whenever there is a need for help the students can contact the staff directly and they are ready to help the students
