Entrance Preview
I attended COMEDK and my score was not very good so I got rank above 10,000. So I did some research and found out that with this score best college I can get is Basaveshwar Engineering college so I opted for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course if bit on the older side but still I can see it as very useful if you really follow each and every subject of your branch carefully. Also each subjects have been given proper attention and is in really detailed. Also you will be given option for electives which you can choose based on your interest apart from your branch related subject.
Internships Opportunities
No, internship program is provided by the college. Here if you really wish to attend some internship then my advice would be to attend some internship for 2 months when holiday after you complete one year.
Placement Experience
Placement in my time was really good we had good companies which came for campus and took students in bulk. Companies as I remember where TCS, Mindtree, Tech Mahindra. Also there were few smaller companies who came for campus process. On an average package provided was 3.5 LPA.
College Events
Lot of events was conducted by the college. There were events conducted by each and every branch which included cultural programs, LAN Gamings, Robo Fights and many more attraction. Also there was on fest organised by the college every year which was super fun to attend and enjoy.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There was 2 fee structure for students coming from different entrance. For state resident there was CET conducted whose fees was very low it was 18 K at that time, there were people through GOI whose fees where again very low but for students coming through COMEDK were paying very hefty fees of 1.25 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
None as I know of because I was not eligible for any scholarship. Loan facility was explained during the admission process. Corporation bank was one of the bank providing loans for education there.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is not that good as you won't find much of way to connect to your Alumni. Seniors are very helpful there as they are always willing you for help related to your studies and how to spend your life in there.
Exam Structure
Internal examination where bit hectic as there were 2 papers in a day but when it comes to external exams there were lot of holidays in between 2 papers which gives ample time to student to prepare well for exams. Also exams were conducted in well managed way. Labs were also conducted where well and there were never shortage of equipments for student.
Admission
Counselling is being organised once result of COMEDK is declared where you have to go and select the college based on your ranking and then if you wish to confirm then they will give you a form which you need to fill and pay tuition fees which is accepted in the form of DD.
Faculty
Most of the faculty there are passed out from the same college as this college is really old but are very qualified and are having very good knowledge on the subject they teach. Here and there you might find faculties who don't have very deep knowledge of the subject but overall faculties are good and educated.
