LPU - The opportunity King

I took admission to Lovely Professional University. You have to pass class 12th with a minimum 50 percentage mark in the PCB stream. The admission process was fully online and the procedure was so simple. Then you have to take admission initially by paying a number of rupees 10k and later on you have to pay the rest admission fee before the commencement of classes.

I choose agriculture as a course because Agriculture matters to the future of development. The ratio of faculty: student ratio is 1: 60. Most of the faculties are holding a post graduation degree and the teachers are very good and they are friendly too. One semester is held for six months after three months u will be having midterm exams from three units that had already been taken. The question is both subjective and objective type. The end term is comprised of six units. Compared to midterm the end term is a little bit difficult and we also have the practical exams and viva

Compulsory internships, on the job training, study tours, and skill enhancement events and workshops are extensively integrated into the Lpu curriculum. They expose students to real work environments and provide an opportunity to apply their learning in real life situations. On site, experience has been gained by students industry internships in corporate giants like bioseed, Nestle, Agro, Amazon, Smur Agro, VLCC, Sanra organics and many more companies. There are many projects like LPU @AUTOEXPO and flying farmer - conceptualized and built by LPU students flying farmer is a wireless and very useful for a field survey of forests etc.

There is a dual opportunity for us after 3 years either we have to go for higher studies or we have to go for internship and campus placements. There are several companies to provides campus placements like bioseed, Amazon, HDFC Bank etc. There is an average of 20-25 lakhs per annum and an average of 3 to 5 lakhs. Around 20 percentage of students will get placements after the completion of the course. I would like to go for Msc after the completion of degree.

The fees structure per sem is about 98k. You will get upto 40 percent scholarship based on the marks of your 10th and 12th classes or you can write the Lpunest exam. There is an opportunity for part time job on our campus.

There is a very good atmosphere on the campus. The campus is also very actively promoting extracurricular activities. There are many festivals available throughout the year and there are many student organisations. A big library is available on the campus. The library is available from 8 am to 12.00 am (Midnight). The classroom has a very good ambience and a good infrastructure. The campus is also promoting both indoor and outdoor games etc mainly badminton and table tennis etc and for outdoor cricket, football, hockey etc. there are many clubs and social groups running on the campus by students.
