IN HANDS OF LPU

I am pursuing a BSC (Hons) Agriculture at Lovely Professional University. There was no quota specification for admission procedures but there is some scholarship for our specific castes like post-matric, central sector scholarship etc. The admission to the university was simple as it gave direct access to the college. Students above 90% are given scholarships even without writing exams but should apply for LPU NEST which is our scholarship examination. Every student in the university can write this exam and can get a scholarship according to the marks gained. After the completion of admission procedures, there will be a counseling day giving us all the information about the university and classes. Even in this pandemic situation LPU never failed to lead their students through all of these.

I chose BSC (Hons) Agriculture because it's a professional degree and has many job opportunities and also LPU provides various placement opportunities so that students can work and learn abroad. There are many faculties in the school of agriculture under various dept. A much better student-faculty ratio can be seen here. Every faculty here are best qualified with experience and degree, as all our teachers pursued a doctoral degree from various universities. An efficient teaching method is followed by the faculties even in this pandemic situation. Provided too many books, lectures, video classes and everything they can provide for our better academic. There were termly and mid-term exams which were very efficient. As much as we cover the portions taught it's sure for passing the exam. Faculties not only teach us to just pass for the exam but also to face many competitive exams and to get a good TGPA.

Off-Campus Internships are available for the students after 3rd year, they can work as an intern with 10 k to 20 k per month. You are free to work on any projects. IEEE sponsored our university so that we can organize any seminar and projects BIOSEED , AMAZON, etc.

100% placements are provided even within and outside the country. Final year a students are to get placements. Amazon, Microsoft, etc. Training for many exams is provided like IELTS , JRF, etc. Almost all the students get placements but mainly based on their performance. After getting the degree I will try to get some placement jobs from university or crack some competitive exams.

196000 - PER YR LPU NEST -Scholarship exam - provided as per the ranking and marks in the exam 100 % placements. I joined after the time of LPU NEST so I couldn't get it. But the university helped me to get post matirc scholarship from the central government

As we are in the online mode we don't know much about campus life. But LPU resembles a foreign university and gives all the facilities for students inside the campus itself.100% safety is provided by the university
