Remarks

This is my first college that I had admission. I didn't applied in other colleges. Minimum mark for eligibility is 60 percent. There are so many process in the admission process.i have taken bsc Hons agriculture and the fees for it is 63700 per sem. Students above 90% in 10th or 12th are given scholarship even without writing exams. Every student in the university can write this exam and get a scholarship according to their mark gained. After the completion of the admission procedure, there will be a counselling day given us all the information about the university and classes

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose BSc(Hons) Agriculture because it's a professional degree and has many job opportunities and also LPU provides various placement opportunities so that students can work and learn abroad. There are many faculty in the school of agriculture under various departments. Every faculty here are best qualified and with experience, and our teacher's pursuit a doctorate in various universities. There are termly and midterm exams which were very efficient. As much as we cover the portions taught it's sure for passing the exam. Facilities not only teach us to just pass for the exam but also to face many competitive exams

Internships Opportunities

Off-campus internships are available for the students after, they can work as an intern with 10 k to 20 k per month. You are free to work on any projects. IEEE sponsored our university so that we can organize any seminar and projects BIOSEED, AMAZON, etc.

Placement Experience

100% placement is provided even within and outside the country. Final year students are to get placement. Amazon, Microsoft, etc. Training for many exams is provided like IELTS, JRF, etc. Almost all the students get placement but mainly based on their performance. After getting the degree I will try to get some placement jobs at university

Fees and Financial Aid

The actual fee for BSc(Hons) agriculture is 196000 per year but there is a scholarship exam like Lpu Nest. I have got a scholarship based on my 10th percentage, so my fee became 127400 per year. And more than this hostel fee, mess fee, laundry fee, gym fees, etc also there if we needed means.

Campus Life

As we were in the online mode we don't know much about campus life. But Lpu resembles a foreign university and gives all the facilities inside the campus itself. We can give 9/ 10 rate for the infrastructure of the university. 100% safety is provided by the university.

Life in PAU

Likes

Beautiful University, the landscape of the university is very stunning after rain it appears even more beautiful
Great infrastructure, old skool type buildings , big auditoriums, fully ac library.
Well reputed university, known all over the world for its achievements

Dislikes

Hostel conditions worst one never seen anything dirty like this
Girls hostel time upto 7 pm only in winters which should be near 9 pm, which is too early , they felt like a prison.

Placement Experience:

During last semester students become eligible for placements. Companies visited are Relaince, HDFC BANK, Swiggy, Godrej foods ltd. and many more. Avg package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum. students max dont go for placements they rather go for masters degree. My plans are to become an entrepreneur.

the theory and practical study is considered best as its comes under the best universities of asia . the academic system is inspired from the foreign studies system.
well the interaction with the faculty is good. As all the faculty treat us as their children. the college infrastructure is good.
well weekly advisory meeting are conducted which help in improving the overall academic performance and if we are feeling any problem we would share it with our advisor. As the class becomes yours family with the passage of time.

Dislikes

few faculty works just come to time pass as they don’t know the complete knowledge about the college courses timing, adding or droping date, not supporting the student academic wise.
proper examination rules and checking should be done to avoid further mistakes done by students
there should be proper parking facilities available. poor at maintenance of washrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we konw horticulture & forestry are the two fields which generates more income compare to other agriculture activities. As time to time workshops are conducted related to trending topics in the every university.( skill development, Cv prepration etcs. since i am also the 3rd year student well university provides/ feels different vibe when other people just speak achievements of your university. the improvement in curriculum should be done on the basis of requirements of students.

The teachings methods are really interesting.

This course was really interesting and choosing this course was my greatest decision ever. Curriculum influenced us very much for this course...there is very wide scope. Many opportunities are provided.

An honest review

Likes

my college building and campus area is very beatitiful and very large .
Our university library is also very big and useful for us and a museum is also in our university related to punjabi virsa .
university campus area is more than 1500 acre it has agricultural land in which Various crops are grown in field.

Dislikes

Our college classes are build in Old fashion there are no or very less hi-fi classes so no smart classes are there.
mess food of our university is also not too good
Hostels are also very old some are in very poor condition

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a nature loving person so I choose this university PAU to do BSc agriculture as it is very growing sector curriculum is very nice and good so I suggest my friends to do this as well . the difficulty level of curriculum is a average or we can say more than average overall our course is too good

Likes

Equality among the students should be improved. And respect each the student.
Every staff members are good at joining after that we have to do everything. Here and there.
Some teachers are like professors and some are like assistant professors

Dislikes

Equality rights should be there for the student applications
1 day late for examination fee you have to pay fine nearly 2000/-
Security guards are very annoying and worst type of behaviour regarding the students

Placement Experience:

7 Sem the placement are start The highest package is 4.5 l to 5.5 l per annual salary 80 percent should be there to get best placement Keeping verified chai business and profits to my self and to prove myself

Faculty Behaviour is very good they interact with students and ask there queries
Hostel life is good as there is good wifi mess and other facilities according to the fee structure
There are lot of students those are getting admission in agricult Department due to university grade and accreditation in NAAC and ICAR

Dislikes

University management is not well if they can try there best they can boost up the university level

I choosed this university over other universities lpu is affordable and other private universities like vit,srm where i faced high competition and rigid seat allocation. LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
