I have applied to YMCA UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY YMCA FARIDABAD for BSC HONOURS MATHEMATICS in 2018. My admission is based on merit base. i.e depends on my 12th percentage. And this merit list contains your name, your father's name and your 12th percentage, and your category. This merit list is listed according to the 12th percentage. Students having more Percentage in 12th those names are in the top and as so an according to the 12th percentage. The only eligibility criteria for applying is you just passed the 12th class or your result awaiting but you must be sure you passed the 12th class. There is also a seat divide according to the seat reservation in Haryana. HOGC ( HARYANA STATE GENERAL)- 25 SEATS, ROHC ( REST OF HARYANA STATE OR NOT BELONGING TO HARYANA STATE ) - 9 SEATS, SC( SCHEDULE CASTE ) - 5 SEATS, SC-D(SCHEDULE CASTE DEPRIVED ) - 5 SEATS, BC-A- 8 SEATS.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I did my graduation in BSc Hons mathematics. The student's strength is 60. Overall faculty is good in mathematics they are also well qualified and they are some post-graduate from IIT DELHI, BHU, MDU ROHTAK and also some Ph.D. scholars. And also have done a Ph.D. in mathematics. So, all over the faculty is well and good. But, for any competitive exam like IIT JAM, TIFR, etc, and other MSc mathematics entrance exams you should study yourself no one faculty is doing for you. They all are just only completed their respective syllabus timely and that's all. So you should study yourself. There are semester exams in March and December. And also two supplementary exams like tests, which are helpful for your semester exam this test or exam is approx 25 or 35 marks, and both test averages are considered in the final semester exam. And semester exams and tests are not so high. You should just only prepare half of the syllabus and you easily passed the exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure is very much expensive compared to all among institutes and other government colleges. They demand you just pay the engineering fee for BSc the fee is 56965 rs per year. Yes, you see right it's 56,965 rs per year fees for doing BSc Hons in mathematics. There is I think only one scholarship i.e NSP SCHOLARSHIP FOR POST METRIC which is also given in all Indian colleges so this is no other unknown scholarship for YMCA students. But yes for Haryana sc bc students there is another scholarship i.e SC BC Scholarship.

Campus Life

2

There are so many clubs for increasing any skills. Many club names are Haryanavi thrills for Haryanvi dance, YOGA club for yoga students, NSS, NCC, YRC (YOUTH RED CROSS SOCIETY ), AND many more clubs regarding your interest. Life on this campus is good only. And also all the information regarding University, clubs and social events you should easily get by social media.

The thing is, i feel exceptionally confident about my career because of our good connections with the institutions. Our graduates manage to get excellent jobs as economic analysts, corporate strategists, and financial consultants. We have the career department, which is assisting me with connecting to various corporate and research companies around the world. They run thorough interview preparation workshops. It ensures my readiness for the job market after graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoyed physics and maths as a school student so chose BSc course including the studies of all three- Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The modern physics part and the practical aspect of mathematics intrigued me. Though the curriculum of maths wasn't that comprehensive and was majorly all theory based. Maths syllabus can be enhanced by practical applications of examples rather than just be all about the theorems. The teaching method was good. The frequency of maths exam was 3 per semester, with three full books syllabus to be covered for each exam with mostly theory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i talk about my couse then i study in bsc (medical) which is a good course, we studies botany, zoology, chemistry, physics also we are nep student so we study more subject. By studying bsc we came to know my real life experiment like knowing about species, real life incidents etc. I suggest my teaching staff that they have to focus more in practical classes not on theory classes because students are more interested in them.
