Personal Experience at IMS

I only applied for IMS Ghaziabad UC because it is the topmost college of Uttar Pradesh and it is the number 1 college of Uttarakhand. The admission criteria for the BBA program in IMSUC is a minimum of 65% in the 12th board exams and the age of the candidate must be 17 or above to take admission. Firstly you have to register yourself on their website afterwards you will be assisted by a counsellor where you will be informed about the course, placements and fee structure. The counsellor will counsel you and also provide you with a detailed explanation of the program.

The course curriculum is revised and updated, it includes all the topics which are required in the corporate world. It makes us corporate ready. IMS Ghaziabad has a great troop of teachers who are highly qualified and are great leaders in themselves. Teachers are also mentors who always guide and motivate their students to take initiatives, learn from surrounding and explore themselves. The teaching method is student friendly as teachers make the topic easy and understandable for students and explain the topic in detail with real life examples so that students can connect with the topic. Teaching tools are used to enhance the learning of students. Two external exams (semester exams) and two internal exams are conducted each year.

There are a lot of internship opportunities in the college. There is a summer internship program where every student must do an internship for at least 6 weeks. The internship is provided in the field of Sales and Marketing, HR and finance. Some of the companies which provide internships are SONY, Big Bazar, Fredily, Bonn Group of Industries, Moglix etc. The stipend is given according to the roles and responsibilities given by the company.

The college provides 100% placement assistance. Students become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. Some of the top companies who visits are SONY, Moglix, Nestle, Jio, YES BANK, Dabur, BYJU'S, Big Bazar, ITC, and Infosys etc. The average package offerd to the students is around 6-7 LPA. Higest package is around 15 LPA. My plan after getting the degree is to get placed in MNC as an HR.

The fees structure for BBA students is 128000 per year which is quite good as there are many facilities which are provided to the students also the infrastructure and faculty of the college are great. In the college, scholarship is provided to the students on the basis of academics, sibling studying in the same college, parents who work in defence, SC/ST and widow. The students who need loans can get loan assistance. There are a lot of opportunities for students as the students get campus selection. The college provides 100% placement assistance.

There are various student driven clubs in the college where students learn and develop skills. Each club is guided by a faculty coordinator and the club is lead by the president. Some of the clubs are Cultural club, Marketing club, HR club, Music club, Desktop app club, Financial club, EWL(earn while learn) club and many more. The main motive of any club is to develop confidence in students and improve their skills so that students can learn team building, teamwork, leadership and coordination.

There was a personal interview before getting admission to the college. The interview was conducted via call. In the interview, some of the basic questions were asked by the interviewer related to current affairs and management related subjects. The interview was nice, after the interview, I got a call for confirmation then the fees structure and curriculum was discussed.
