In DTU for Computer Engineering, you need JEE main rank under 10000 for general, under 30000 for OBC or EWS, under 1.5lac for SC/ST. In DTU the number of seats increases every year so the chances of selection are more every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The placement percentage is high for Computer Engineering in DTU and avg package is about 18lac per annum. Every faculty member here is very qualified in their feild. In covid period exams are on a monthly basis so it's kinda hard but online exams are easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies come to DTU during your 3rd year to give internships to students. Only a few students could land an internship , you're lucky if you grab one. This internship will provide you with some work experience and knowledge about work culture in the IT sector. This internship will provide you an advantage during the placement as it shine in your resume
Placement Experience
Over 300+ companies come to DTU in placement season. You can grab an internship in the 3rd-year summer break and if you do that honestly same company will give you a permanent job in placement time. In 4th-year placement starts. In the COE branch, 80%+ students get placement offers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike is a major issue although DTU is govt University fee that is not affordable to the lower middle class. You have to apply for loans and scholarships every year. There are many scholarships by the Delhi govt for the students and there is one by DTU itself but you can only claim one scholarship.
Campus Life
Well In covid period campus was closed so I can't say anything. But there are many societies in college for your interest. You can explore more in the orientation of DTU. The library in DTU is quite big you would be fascinated by it. The sports complex in DTU is also quite big you can play cricket, football, etc.
