PCCCS : College reviewed

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful, highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is great. They use live examples to explain theories. All the teachers are very friendly, and they are ready to help students at any time. Other: Various kinds of events and fests are conducted here to encourage students to show their talents on the stage.

I choose this course as I was interested in computers but I was not much good at it. The teacher here is very friendly There are separate teachers appointed for various subjects. There are 2 divisions, 80 strengths each. The faculty is well qualified and always ready to answer your queries. There are projectors installed in each and every classroom. The teaching methods here more leans towards the theoretical type. As it comes under Pune University there is a semester pattern of 6 months. Every after 6 months there is a exam conducted by University in college. The college also conducts practical exams and unit tests. It's not much hard to clear the exam but it's also not easy to score cutoff out marks.

From the 3rd year ( 5th Sem) the students are eligible for campus placements. There are not dozens of companies but there are a few such as Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Jio call centres, Capgemini,etc. The percentage of placement is not less than 30% but not more than 65%. The plan after getting the degree is to enrol for masters.

The course fee is 30k per annum which costs you 90k to complete the course. Due to the COVID recession, this was a bit high for students. There is only scholarship on the cast basis which seems slightly annoying. There are various pool interviews conducted in college but there are worst at reliability.

There are various functions, gatherings and festivals celebrated here which cheers up the students to attend the college. The college is not more in sports. Still, the college promotes basketball and is also trying to make the way in other sports. There are various extracurricular activities such as seminars, hackathons, coding competitions conducted in college itself. The NSS(National service scheme) the group conducts other extracurricular activities controlled by students itself which is like a cheery on the cake.
