I applied to Delhi technical University but I didn't get the course I wanted to pursue and opted for Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute Of Tech and Mang. No, I didn't apply for any quota. GGSIPU has its exam in which you have to score a good rank and for qualification, you have to have a minimum cut-off percentage set by the university. First, there was registration and examination after that result was announced and as per the rank locations were allotted where set rank children can and opt for college and courses available furthermore there is also a quota verification process.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well, I always had an interest in the field of electronics and always wanted to pursue it that's why I opted for it. Well, the faculty-student ratio is good as there are 60 students in each class. Most of the faculty is a doctorate and their teaching method is on par with a great institution. There will be 3 exams each semester 2 internals and 1 external along with your internal and external practical examination.
Placement Experience
The 7th sem is important as the company will start coming to the campus for placements. Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Samsung are among the companies that visit the campus for placement. Well, the highest package can go up to 10-15 lakhs and average packages are 3-4lakh per annum respectively. Well, cutoff placement usually ranges from 70-80%. I am pursuing my masters in the ECE field.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there was no fees hike policy. A student with a financially weaker section can opt for the scholarship if there are in EWS(economically weaker section) and a loan can also be applied for the fee. Job is not that much in the campus for mechanical electrical and civil as compared to CS and IT.
Campus Life
Innoviz is the annual fest name and is organized in March. The library is big and almost had all the books needed for engineering. Classrooms are ventilated and lights and fans are apt as per classroom size, it is big even for the students' strength of 60. Almost all sports are there in college including chess badminton and TT( table tennis). For extracurricular drama club, dance club, and street fest teams and activities can be done. INactus, Awaaz, and many other social groups are there on campus. Apart from sports and drama club technical clubs are also there. A website for all the notes and study material for all the semester are provided on a website called noteshub and they even have an app on the apps store.
