Entrance Preview

MCA entrance Exam. I got 49 marks out of 100, this exam contains negative marks too with that i scored 49 marks. Nearby my Location and very much skilled staffs.

Course Curriculum Overview

The staffs in the institute/university are full of Ph.D staff. All are finished the doctorate in the particular subject. Each and every staff have atleast of 5-8 Ph.D scholar and 5 M.Phil Students. Well versed department library, Centeralised library with bio metric systems and digital library.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, internship is provide by our college. But did not know about the stipend details and etc. Ph.D scholars are availing stipend and students are getting internship projects also.

Placement Experience

Placement training is good in my institute. Especially in my department many various department staff from our university and also from outer colleges and university and experienced persons from the IT including alumni of the institute and my department.

College Events

Many functions, culturals and technical festivals conducted by university and my department too. Oonam Fest - to Celebrate Oonam Festival, Pongal Fest - To celebrate Pongal Festival, sports day function, annual day function, intercollege meet from various departments in the university guest lecture.

Fees and Financial Aid

My our institute they provide all details and documents for bank loan availing candidates. Scholarship is provided for all students studing in te university.

Hostel Facilities

The Mess offers simple and nutritious vegetarian food and the Mess rate is calculated on dividing system. The hostel inmates are expected modesty in dress within the hostel premises. When compared to PGs hostel rate is low and nearby location to their departments.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Exams should be in Credit Based Choice System(CBCS). Semester Examinations will be held twice in a year. Odd semester examinations will be held in November and even semester examinations in April. Notification inviting applications for the semester examinations will normally be issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations 30-45 days before the commencement of the examinations.

Admission

I was passed in the entrance examination, i got call letter for admission from the institute. I went to the institute in the particular date of admission they collect my details and certificates and give me the form to complete the admission process. There should be the interview before admission. After completing the interview i got admission in the valuable gandhigram university.

Likes

The whole environment is pretty nice in the campus. The campus itself is pretty huge and there is so many place where we can sit and relax.
The teacher are friendly and easiy to approach for most of the times.
The cafe is also nice and is pretty affordable. It is clean too.

Dislikes

They have some nonsensical rules in the college. Some of the rules doesn't even make any sense.
The college doesn't follow a proper schedule and the time table is just for show.
There is still a problem for many stuffs if a girl and boy sit together and talk.

Placement Experience:

The college website shows the various placement opportunity the college offers and there are many great opportunities that our seniors got into. about 176 well known IT companies comes to this college for placement.

Downs!

Likes

Computer science lab was so big and it looks good
The green grass in the ground gives a positive mind
Main Library was too good and so calm so that we can spend peaceful time

Dislikes

Restrooms are not clean for a single day
More than 4 street dogs are roaming in the campus
During admission they said many placement companies will come but it was a lie

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took MCA to get placed into IT companies . The subjects in the MCA is very interesting but the students who studied UG course and then the pg course also in the same college then it is totally waste because they are studying the same subject again. Very bad thing is that in this college they are providing the same subjects and same syllabus for UG and PG students there is nothing different. But i have studies ug in other clg so for me it is different so i managed and it is interesting

Admission:

The candidates need to fill an registration form for applying for the UG and the PG coursed offered in the college with the registration fee.The demand draft should be paid to the Alagappa University Karaikudi. The fee would be reasonable for the application. It has its own entrance exams for all the integrated and post graduate coursed with the personal interview and the group discussion. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the performance in group discussion and personal interview. Based on the merit the under graduate and the post graduate admissions are done.

I am MCA student. Before two days I research on government school or private school. According to my information, in study point of view, private schools are good but fees point of view are not good because poor families cannot pay money for private facilities. According to my information, other facilities point of view private institutions good compare to government institution.

Eligibility is 12th pass students. Online website in the GRI Portal to find the application form. Application fees will be BC/MBC - 600, SC/ST - No fees.
