Remarks

I applied many government colleges in my ACPC 1st round. I got admission in L.D. college of engineering in 1st round as I have good ACPC rank considered my ST quota. I have chosen B.E. Civil, so in this stream the admission criteria is very much high in this college as it is one of the best government college in Gujarat. My ACPC rank was 9039 and I have ST quota, so I didn't face any issues for getting admission. The admission process is very smooth & it is easy for everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Civil engineering because it is very good course & I want to do good government job.Civil engineering is the course which gives you the knowledge of structures & planning of all types of construction knowledge. It has very respective position in entire states. In L.D. college of engineering, there are very good faculty for all streams. Specially in our Civil program, the Faculty is very kind & also big. The ratio between faculty & students is very much equal, so students hardly have any issues in their study.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am in the 3rd semester so I have very little knowledge of internships. Companies like Zydus, L&T, etc. are the options for internships. Projects like SLC are good for our overall development & its experience for our progression is very important.

Placement Experience

In our college, the B.E. stream students are eligible from the 7th semester of their study. There is a very large opportunity number for placement. In Our college, there are such companies as Linde, Reliance, Accenture, L&T, MRF, etc. The highest package in our college is nearly 1 crore per annum. As our college has a good ratio of campus placement, the average package is 25 lakh per annum. Our college has nearly 75% of getting placement students. My plan After B.E. civil program is to do a master's in IIT.

Fees and Financial Aid

Government colleges are good for everyone. In L.D. college of engineering, fees is very much reliable for us. This college has a very low cost for study, so all students easily afford it. My fees for 1 year in Civil Engineering is 1500/-.

Campus Life

There are various type of annual fest like Robocon,NCC fest, IT hub, internship fest etc. L.D. college of engineering have very big Library. It has all type of books & it is well aligned. Our classroom are smart & big. It has projector & big screen. Thare are various sports activities in our college & many tournaments for all sports, so students get all type of knowledge & discipline.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
