Remarks
Good aspects about LPU are the exposure, extra curricular activities, Management, teachers are polite, they have their own online class platform i.e codetantra. Bad aspects about LPU are expensive hostels, high fees though they give scholarships to the students. Sometimes the classes and assignments become a pressure. I choose LPU because i got scholarship upto 45% till the end of the program actuall fees was 70000 I'm paying approx 37000. Website for admission - admit.lpu.in , and www.lpu.in
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose b.com Honours course because i want to pursue my career in finance. Some classes having 45 students and 1 teacher and some 80 students and 1 teacher. Most of the faculty are doctorates i.e they have done their Ph.D. all teachers use english in their lecture and tutorial classes. They take 2 times exams in 1 semester mid term exam i.e mte and end term exam i.e ete . They are easy to pass but difficult to gain high marks.
Internships Opportunities
Right now I'm in 3rd semester so internships opportunity are not available by university but a student can do on their own currently a cous ambassador at Techfest, IIT bomaby
Placement Experience
From 4th semester students become eligible for internships many companies come for internships in our universities most of them are cognizant, wipro, shri ram life insurance, delloite and many small companies. Highest package for b.com Hons is 9 lakh and avg is 5 lakh. 90% students got placed. I'm planning to get a job
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for b.com hons is between 70k to 80K they provide huge amount of scholarships to the students based on percentage in their boards exam and also on entrance exam marks. They provide scholarship to ews , army children's, and to obc,sc, st. As I'm currently studying so I'm attending placements classes provided by university
Campus Life
There are various students organisation of different domains, there are also different clubs and it's easy to be a part of it they just take interview of yours to know your skills , strengths, weakness. The sports and extracurricular activities are too good they have Olympics size swimming pool and also they have all facilities for all type of games. There are also non profit organizations run by students . Students can make their own organization in 3rd year.
Hostel Facilities
Because of Corona we are not able to go for hostel life but they have good hostels they aldo have apartments and dormantry system. They provide meals for different cultural students like north meal south meal, they provide 4 times meal or 3 times a person can choose according to their choice.
Admission
No i didn't take any entrance exam. i got admission on the basis of 12th percentage. But i know about the entrance test and there is no interview or group discussion
