LDCE Ahmedabad, BE, Civil Engineering

Remarks

The admission process is very simple. For admission in LDCE, you have to enrol through Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). The committee will provide your rank based on your scores in the GUJCET JEE MAINS and 12th Board exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in Civil engineering. And I got admission to that course. The faculty members to students ratio are 1:30. Highly qualified faculty members are there to help you out throughout the course. From time to time exams like class test midterm exams and university exams are taken.

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 2370 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available after the completion of the undergraduate course. Till now I don't know much about internships offered and the companies offering internships. But I think there will be great opportunities for internships.

Placement Experience

I think after 7th semester students get eligible for campus placement. One of the largest companies named Larsen and Toubro ( L and T) visits for campus placement. The average package of 8 LPA is offered and the maximum package offered is 15 LPA. 50% of the students got placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the first year is 1500. And for the next three years, the fees are 2370 per year. There are many scholarships like MYSY. It provides 5000 rs for books and hostel charges also. It also compensates for college fees.

Campus Life

There are many fests and tech fests conducted in college. Also, the library contains a vast variety of books. Sports activities like cricket, badminton, football, basketball and many others are also there. NCC and NSS training is also available.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
