Remarks

I have applied for other NITs but i got selected to Nit Agartala , I am a obc candidate and got some advantage and from Telangana state so no home state advantage , marks wise we can't predict only rank matters most according to rank we got selected to institute age criteria is not necessary and never mentioned branches will be alloted according to your preferencial order and accordingly you will get the certain branch and institute , counseling was like verifying all the copies and identity card issuing then you will get class allotment

Course Curriculum Overview

Honestly CS was my first preference but i got Electrical though it wasn't bad , and faculty was excellent very well qualified teachers . Everyone is like understanding and work for the progress , difficulty of exams is there and twice a year exams are conducted as end term along with 2 mids one in each

Internships Opportunities

There are like very few will be provided after 4th sem with the. Stipend of 15000 and less , some projects are also discussed Accordingly as per the company Samsung was visited and Western digital was came like wise many

Placement Experience

After 6th semester students are Eligible for placements , there are approximately 50 companies have visited the campus, highest package was 21 lpa and Lowest was 6lpa almost 95% will be placed .my plans ws like getting into job for 2 yrs then will go for higher studies

There Will be some change semester to semester and scholarships like nsp and fee will be given, below the poverty line candidates can get fee exemption anything according is provided by the institute, Worth for the course i would say

Campus Life

There are 2 fests in a year one is tech and the other is cultural, library facility is good books are available classrooms are wide enough, extracurricular activities like sports NSS, NCC also available. For sports, there are playgrounds available

Hostel Facilities

Room is sufficient for a guy fan table cupboards desk cot available meal is a bit dissatisfaction , hostels. Registration process seperate after all the admission , there are many hostels available you can have no issues with that

All about NIT Agartala

Likes

affordable hostel fee, i.e. 30k, which i think is ok for 4 months(1 sem = 4 months)
roads connects all the places in the campus
sports complex have is huge area, enough for all

Dislikes

poor electricity supply during rainy seasons
administration takes too long time to review, fix or maintain things

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

There are wifi in the hostel. There no power cuts too so it's a good thing
There is no limit to water supply as well
The campus is clean and the classrooms too

Dislikes

The mess food is alright no that good edible only
The timing to go outside the campus is pretty short
There are no restaurant or cafe outside the campus

Placement Experience:

The placement for b.tech is not that bad because there are many companies come to hire freshly passed b.tech students and there is a placement department to help the students to get a job. The average package is around 5lpa

My College Experience

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There we're.companies like TechMahindra, TCS, Boltmetric etc. Highest ever package was of 8 lakh pa And average package was 3 lakh pa Almost 40% students get places I got placed in one of the companies but due to family reasons couldn't join as going far from home was not possible. So now I'm preparing for government jobs and bank jobs.

Mess will need to be improve and some stuff is missing in our workshop like instruments
My engagement of my college faculty are good but some time the behaviour like rude
Faculties are good but sometimes if ee need to understand something then they do not properly guide us

Dislikes

The admission cell well rude behaviour if we not paid our addmission fee due time
College building sometime dirty but the employee are force to the student for cleaning
The AC is not work properly when its much needed at summer time

Because of I select the electrical engineer branch because of I need to learn something as a electrical engineer. The curriculum is good as per the electrical domain because we get all the benifits from the college. Some workshop will need to be improve

NIT Agartala review from final year student

Likes

Branch teachers are mostly chill with classes etc.
The campus is very big. Greenery is present in almost the whole campus.
Good companions from different parts of the country.

Dislikes

Fests doesn't occurs on time due to internal problems.
Buildings are far from the gate which might create issues.
There is no such dislikable thing in college rather than the two.

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campsuing from the 7th semester. As of now (december 2024) this year we got Google, oracle, HP, Visa, Tekion, phonepe and many other companies . Highest package was 48LPA and average will be like 10. Almost 50% student got placed till date and companies are constantly visiting campus. My plans: I might go for higher education through GATE exam.

Likes

As i am in a lush green campus, that's why the view is amazing. You will fall in love with pure air and view of nit Agartala.
NIT agartala has one of the biggest library amongst all north east institutes and colleges. This institute also provides a huge sports complex.
Teacher and other faculty members are also very supportive to different person from different languages.

Dislikes

This institutes is very far away from the main city. there is not such a proper connection to the city.
Being a vegetarian, it is very difficult to find proper veg food although college has its shopping complex but it also provides very less vegetarian food.
Sometimes hostel mess food is very bad in taste.

Placement Experience:

placements are moderate in this college. many seniors got an opportunity of internship in google and different prestigious companies. you can be eligible for internships and placements in 5th semester. i thing highest pacake if 70 lakh from google and 12 lakh is average package from computational mathematics branch. and recently 22 lakh package has been taken by our senior by phonep company. i just want an internship in my 3rd year in an tech company and want to get placed in the 4th year. I thing above 90% students get placed in our college

There are several benifits of reading in this college like the low fee and flexibility of opting for cast benifits and also support to economically backward students.
The college aslo provides scholarship facilities to almost every students and it's very much beneficial for students.
The faculty is highly educated and skillful and some of them are quite eager to teach others about what they know.

Dislikes

The administration is quite slow in performing just the simple tasks and sometimes it's frustrating.
The lab facilities in the college is not upto mark as it lacks modern equipments to perform the tasks.
Some of the professors are not that willing to show their interest in teaching the students.

Placement Experience:

The students becomes eligible for placement in their 4th year. There are several companies that visit and gives placements like Capgemini and TCS. Most of the jobs provided are related to the IT field. Students must acquire more than 7 cgpa to be able to sit for placements.

Solid academic foundation with great industry exposure

I chose NIT Agartala primarily because of its reputation as a National Institute of Technology and the specific opportunities within the Production Engineering department. While I looked at other NITs and some private universities, NIT Agartala offered a better balance of ROI and industry recognition. The admission process was smooth, handled entirely through JoSAA/CSAB based on my JEE Main rank. The eligibility required clearing the cutoff and having a good percentage in the 12th boards. Eyeopener

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank .
