Remarks

The admission process to get into any engineering college is quite vast and complex. For entering into Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology you have appear for Common Entrance Exam or Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). Based on your marks you will have to apply for different colleges in CAP rounds. I had 86 percentile in MHT CET and hence i was able to get a seat in the Electronics and Telecom Department of this esteemed college. There are total 120 seats for the EXTC department out of which 20-30 seats are for the diploma students. You can also check the seat matrix of the institute. You can explore other departments like CS/IT/ Mechanical /AI DS engineering on mct rgit's official website.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I kept on learning electronics from the start itself. EXTC department in this particular institution gives an amazing exposure to students. The faculty is very helpful and kind. Most of the faculties are PHD holders and have great knowledge about the subjects. The exams conducted by the institutes are not much difficult. However the institute is very strict and punctual when it comes to assignments and submissions.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Various internship opportunities are given to us from the second year itself. The overall experience has been wonderful. Talking about projects there are Mini Projects in every semester where you have to present you, working model.

Placement Experience

The placement preparations start from the 6th-7th Semester. We are offered placements from reknowned companies like TCS, Reliance, infosys etc. Many of our college alumnis have settled abroad and our working with google, facebook, amazon etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is 1,24,000 for the open category students. For Obc it is around 70-80k and for SC and ST it is around 4k to 5k. There are various scholarships for which EWS and EBC students can apply. You will learn about it from the admin staff.

Campus Life

4.5

There is a fest named Zodiac which happens every year. There are a lot of committees within the campus. IEEE, Robotics, ASME, Code Cell, and many more committees are there to keep the students engaged in various activities. There are also non profit organisations (social groups) within the institute such as SOCH and UBA. Students get to learn a lot through these committees
