Over all very nice college environment of our college is very good.Staff of our college is good appeance of our college is also very good.

Entrance Preview

I choose IIT JEE and want to do B.tech in civil engineering. i want admission process in my college same process.

Internships Opportunities

Internship experiance is very good. So many companies visit our college like tata,dell,infosys etc

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are given in our college .Every year 15-20 companies visit our colelge and give pakages about 4,5000 like tata,infosys,hcl, dell etc. Placement cell in our college availble here to place the students during visiting companies.

College Events

So many events are holds in our college like cultural and technical in every year.Cultural event genesis so many singers visited during this event prizes are given and cash amount prizes also given to the students other college's students participate in our college's events.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given to poor student and those student who are intelligent and toppers scholarship given to minority communities student about 80000 in one year i think its enough to pay college fee of one year.

Campus Life

Gender ratio boys are more than girls workshops are availble for students practicals and labs for every course is availble . Consultncy cell is availble in our college. Cultural societies are made in our college every year. Sports meet is held in our college every year.

Hostel are not very clean but staff is very good fees is suitable against hostel condition.Mess is very good food is very tasty and healthy. 12000/- paid for one semester .Mess food is very good and tatsy . All facilities are given to the hosteler student

Faculty is very good.Concentrated on every topic deeply and practical knowledge given by faculty.Faculty help us to make new project on course and make our industrial trip in every trip.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

I chose Guru anank dev engineering college because of low fee as compared to LPU and also Guru annak dev engineering college is old as compared to LPU so it will have lesser alumni network. 2) No i didnt get rejected i just left that college. 3) Adimission process- simply apply from website of IKGPTU based on jee mains marks and 12th exam. For taking admission in this college you can take admission on the basis of your board exam marks. You can get admission if you have minimum 40% marks in your board exam as well. For taking admission in CSE or IT branch you should have atleast 85% or more marks scored in your board exam. If you are from home state you might get reservation benefit. In this college 85% seats are reserved for home state students and rest 15% for other students as well as for home state.
