JEE mains score-130 Computer science at my college is considered good that's why I went for it. While people also consider IT stream pretty promising at our college.
Internships Opportunities
I don't know much about this particular part but most of the students get decent internships as our seniors tell us.
Placement Experience
The placements are decent where each and every student is placed. Also in computer science percentage offers made are sometimes as high as 200%. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte amazon visit the campus. Also a lot of startups show up for hiring students so for a person who wants opportunities on his plate, startups are a way to go here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It depends on how one's family background is,while for some it is really expensive for others it's not much but cannot be compared to any government institution. Per semester fee is about 1.5 lakhs (with an AC hostel,mess and laundry all included)the major contributions going to development fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are given out to those who need it and perform really good at academics also scholarships are provided to students from backward castes and tribes.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni are pretty helpful and keep sharing info about placements, workshops seminars and their own experiences in college and during interviews. Through facebook and google+ circles which provides helpful insight into career building options.
Exam Structure
Exams are not so tough but very frequent, we have three term exams each semester where one passes the semester if the sum of marks in above three is greater than the cutoff. Labs are also not very hectic but they are indeed fun and give a lot of practical experience.
Faculty
The faculty is the weak part of our college . While there are some mind blowing teachers in the humanities department the majority of teachers in the core departments are not so good. Self study is the biggest weapon that can get you through the 4 years of this course.
