Remarks

In their website .admit.lpu.in.every thing was good .It was better than my expectations.Their is no need to improvement in their site.They give us scholarship base on your madhyamik and hs examination and lpunest

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose agriculture because from childhood I was interested in gardening. And lpu was the big opportunity for me to success my dream . Their facilities ration was so good . Faculties are so good. They learn us every topic in proper way .there was no doubt.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 136000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Tata Mahindra, Wipro, Amazon, Oracle, Microsoft, cognizant, every big company visit lpu and gives a stipend to students who are capable. Tata Mahinda is a big company that visits lpu every year. Many banks like hdfc boi visit the campus for recruitment

Placement Experience

From the 3rd year, you'll be eligible for campus placement with a minimum cgpa of 7. About 500 company's visits lpu every year and recruit a large number of students. The highest salary was 1 crore for bsc agriculture student. Approx 95% of students get placed with a decent salary. I'll do further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was in 3 rd semester .I got 30% scholarship in my course fee. It was a great opportunity for me . In my point of view according to their services course fee was less. It was a big campus . In case of agriculture their are big field and more than 70 lab

Campus Life

Campus is so big ..in campus so many facilities are available .Their are uni mall, uni hospital , gym , swimming pool, in the university campus . Sports facilities are so good and impressive . Campus Life is beautiful .

Hostel Facilities

Room's are spacious and equipped with air conditioner and well maintained. Meal and mess food is average as per seasonal vegetable bit you will get enough food to get your stomach done. You can avail hostel/ residential from the university website or by visiting the admission block. Law gate will be the location for rented room pg.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Life in PAU

Likes

Beautiful University, the landscape of the university is very stunning after rain it appears even more beautiful
Great infrastructure, old skool type buildings , big auditoriums, fully ac library.
Well reputed university, known all over the world for its achievements

Dislikes

Hostel conditions worst one never seen anything dirty like this
Girls hostel time upto 7 pm only in winters which should be near 9 pm, which is too early , they felt like a prison.

Placement Experience:

During last semester students become eligible for placements. Companies visited are Relaince, HDFC BANK, Swiggy, Godrej foods ltd. and many more. Avg package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum. students max dont go for placements they rather go for masters degree. My plans are to become an entrepreneur.

the theory and practical study is considered best as its comes under the best universities of asia . the academic system is inspired from the foreign studies system.
well the interaction with the faculty is good. As all the faculty treat us as their children. the college infrastructure is good.
well weekly advisory meeting are conducted which help in improving the overall academic performance and if we are feeling any problem we would share it with our advisor. As the class becomes yours family with the passage of time.

Dislikes

few faculty works just come to time pass as they don’t know the complete knowledge about the college courses timing, adding or droping date, not supporting the student academic wise.
proper examination rules and checking should be done to avoid further mistakes done by students
there should be proper parking facilities available. poor at maintenance of washrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we konw horticulture & forestry are the two fields which generates more income compare to other agriculture activities. As time to time workshops are conducted related to trending topics in the every university.( skill development, Cv prepration etcs. since i am also the 3rd year student well university provides/ feels different vibe when other people just speak achievements of your university. the improvement in curriculum should be done on the basis of requirements of students.

An honest review

Likes

my college building and campus area is very beatitiful and very large .
Our university library is also very big and useful for us and a museum is also in our university related to punjabi virsa .
university campus area is more than 1500 acre it has agricultural land in which Various crops are grown in field.

Dislikes

Our college classes are build in Old fashion there are no or very less hi-fi classes so no smart classes are there.
mess food of our university is also not too good
Hostels are also very old some are in very poor condition

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a nature loving person so I choose this university PAU to do BSc agriculture as it is very growing sector curriculum is very nice and good so I suggest my friends to do this as well . the difficulty level of curriculum is a average or we can say more than average overall our course is too good

Likes

Equality among the students should be improved. And respect each the student.
Every staff members are good at joining after that we have to do everything. Here and there.
Some teachers are like professors and some are like assistant professors

Dislikes

Equality rights should be there for the student applications
1 day late for examination fee you have to pay fine nearly 2000/-
Security guards are very annoying and worst type of behaviour regarding the students

Placement Experience:

7 Sem the placement are start The highest package is 4.5 l to 5.5 l per annual salary 80 percent should be there to get best placement Keeping verified chai business and profits to my self and to prove myself

Faculty Behaviour is very good they interact with students and ask there queries
Hostel life is good as there is good wifi mess and other facilities according to the fee structure
There are lot of students those are getting admission in agricult Department due to university grade and accreditation in NAAC and ICAR

Dislikes

University management is not well if they can try there best they can boost up the university level

I choosed this university over other universities lpu is affordable and other private universities like vit,srm where i faced high competition and rigid seat allocation. Additionaly the sheer vol of students taking admissions so such a massive batch size for resources and individual attention can be stressful compared to smaller, state label collages....Read More

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
