You should pass the LPUNEST exam and fill the online form through the college official website and if you are selected through the online process then submit your documents to the college counter and they will offer fees kindly pay that amount and submit the receipt of fees in that counter.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to know about BSc agriculture that's why I took admission to this course. This college offers the best faculty staff which is very well reputed and educated and well-mannered approx 54 students in one classroom and in this course, every year contains eight semesters exams conducted by Lpu.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Paytm, and various other tech giants visit the campus to give internships to students. The internship is provided after a coding round followed by an interview round.

Placement Experience

Internship opportunity is provided at the end of the second year. Many companies visit the campus and most of the students get PPOs at the end of internships. Companies visit the campus to hire engineers in the beginning of the fourth year. There is almost 95% placement from the college. For the year 2020-2021 maximum CTC is around 52 lakh and the average package is 19 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

FEE STRUCTURE -INR 120000 Lpu nest exam gives you a 40% scholarship. It's relevant and we can able to choose elective subjects as well. Syllabus to meet industry standards Practical labs are well equipped Exams will be more skill based. Theory and problematic. The syllabus will be research driven Students will have to do 2 minor projects and 1 major project in the final year.

Campus Life

Anti Ragging rules were very strict. Students who indulge in ragging and others who were mute participants will be suspended Campus life will be a good Many short films, camogenic skills, sports activities, music related activities will be carried out. Literature clubs and students clubs NSS, yoga activities will be there And the cultural meetings will be like a festival you can enjoy the most. Workshops will be conducted and students are allowed to participate inter college activities.

Life in PAU

Likes

Beautiful University, the landscape of the university is very stunning after rain it appears even more beautiful
Great infrastructure, old skool type buildings , big auditoriums, fully ac library.
Well reputed university, known all over the world for its achievements

Dislikes

Hostel conditions worst one never seen anything dirty like this
Girls hostel time upto 7 pm only in winters which should be near 9 pm, which is too early , they felt like a prison.

Placement Experience:

During last semester students become eligible for placements. Companies visited are Relaince, HDFC BANK, Swiggy, Godrej foods ltd. and many more. Avg package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum. students max dont go for placements they rather go for masters degree. My plans are to become an entrepreneur.

the theory and practical study is considered best as its comes under the best universities of asia . the academic system is inspired from the foreign studies system.
well the interaction with the faculty is good. As all the faculty treat us as their children. the college infrastructure is good.
well weekly advisory meeting are conducted which help in improving the overall academic performance and if we are feeling any problem we would share it with our advisor. As the class becomes yours family with the passage of time.

Dislikes

few faculty works just come to time pass as they don’t know the complete knowledge about the college courses timing, adding or droping date, not supporting the student academic wise.
proper examination rules and checking should be done to avoid further mistakes done by students
there should be proper parking facilities available. poor at maintenance of washrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we konw horticulture & forestry are the two fields which generates more income compare to other agriculture activities. As time to time workshops are conducted related to trending topics in the every university.( skill development, Cv prepration etcs. since i am also the 3rd year student well university provides/ feels different vibe when other people just speak achievements of your university. the improvement in curriculum should be done on the basis of requirements of students.

An honest review

Likes

my college building and campus area is very beatitiful and very large .
Our university library is also very big and useful for us and a museum is also in our university related to punjabi virsa .
university campus area is more than 1500 acre it has agricultural land in which Various crops are grown in field.

Dislikes

Our college classes are build in Old fashion there are no or very less hi-fi classes so no smart classes are there.
mess food of our university is also not too good
Hostels are also very old some are in very poor condition

I am a nature loving person so I choose this university PAU to do BSc agriculture as it is very growing sector curriculum is very nice and good so I suggest my friends to do this as well . the difficulty level of curriculum is a average or we can say more than average overall our course is too good

Likes

Equality among the students should be improved. And respect each the student.
Every staff members are good at joining after that we have to do everything. Here and there.
Some teachers are like professors and some are like assistant professors

Dislikes

Equality rights should be there for the student applications
1 day late for examination fee you have to pay fine nearly 2000/-
Security guards are very annoying and worst type of behaviour regarding the students

Placement Experience:

7 Sem the placement are start The highest package is 4.5 l to 5.5 l per annual salary 80 percent should be there to get best placement Keeping verified chai business and profits to my self and to prove myself

Faculty Behaviour is very good they interact with students and ask there queries
Hostel life is good as there is good wifi mess and other facilities according to the fee structure
There are lot of students those are getting admission in agricult Department due to university grade and accreditation in NAAC and ICAR

Dislikes

University management is not well if they can try there best they can boost up the university level

I choosed this university over other universities lpu is affordable and other private universities like vit,srm where i faced high competition and rigid seat allocation.
