Remarks

20000(approx) or less rank is required to get admitted in DTU, MCE branch. And with OBC, EWS SC, ST category students get some relaxation. One can check the reservation-wise cutoff at collegedunia for different branches at DTU. A minimum of 60% marks in class 12th is required. JAC Councelling form has to be submitted in order to apply to DTU. The fee of JAC councelling is 1500Rs. After filling the JAC application form (application form is available at jacdelhi.ac.in), one can check all the documents and instructions on the website. There is a spot around too, at the end of the councelling, where students with lower ranks get the chance to get a seat at their desired branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I want to learn about computers and their application in different fields. I was always good at mathematics and loved playing with numbers and dates. I always had an interest in computer science and recently got to know about Data Science field and job opportunities. And MCE was the best branch in order to fulfil my aim. In online mode we have continuous evaluation and we have to prepare projects for our mid term evaluation. The faculty is good , all our professors teach sincerely.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships were provided by DTU, also known as on campus internships. A stipend of 2000 rs for 2 month internship. Internship of different kinds were offered to students, like librarian , data entering internship, web development internship, etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

Companies come in 3rd year for internships. Students who are eligible apply for these hiogh paying internships and bag great internships. Placement is alo great in dtu. Avg package in 2019 was approx 12 lakh and in 2020 it was 13 Lakh. In 4th year companies come to hire students of all branches for permanent jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Despite of being a government college, DTU's B.Tech fee is very high and each year it is increased by 9-10%. This makes it very difficult for students who belong to financially weak backgrounds. There is scholarship program in the university , which is given on the basis of family income and there is also a financial assistance scheme from delhi goverment on the basis of income and rashan card. And student can also take loan to complete there 4 year long course, but the fees is quite high and goverment should do something about it.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is great. It has great vibes. We have an open-air theatre. We have events of all type, all over the year. Tech fests , cultural fests, sports events, etc. We also have many societies like cultural society, art society, drama society ,etc. Students actively participate in all of these societies.

Other Applied Colleges

IIT Kanpur | B.Tech

I didn't fulfilled the admission criteria.

Placement Experience:

For placement, I would say it is average in terms of top-tier colleges. Average placement is 6 LPA; the highest last year was 29 LPA in BTech AI/ML. Placement is offered in the 4th year of the courses, and there are on-campus placements available, but under significant criteria based on the recruiting company like cgpa should be more then 7.5 no active backlog and all so these are the cretiera that a company demands and depands of dfiffrent companies i dont have any subsqueent infomation regaridng the name of companies visited and no of offer made but i have the information regarding thear placement percenateg it was aroung 82 percent last year my plans are to prepare for govt exam and get in there after getting degree

I don't know much about placement because I don't want to sit in the placement drive of my college. Like I told earlier also that I have interest in electronics, so I want to do something in that field. If I want then I will give GATE exam after 4 years of my college so that I can get a chance to do MTECH in vlsi.
