Campus is very chill and very good infastructure. Almost everything is available inside it.
Placement opportunity is avilable here.If you work hard you can grab it either online or offline.
There are many clubs and extra curricular activities to make your mind calm .

Dislikes

Hectic schedule and you feel nostalgic here if you are newbie
Very rude Strict professor .You have to find some more time for your own work.
Most important is the peer group , if you are alone here then you cannot survive in this environment

Placement Experience:

Look there are very large audience in this campus. For this specialization thereare many competitors - B.tech , integrated m.tech and even m.tech. So on campus placements are big issue here, many seniors applied for off campus , some left and join NTPC .

I appeared for the JEE Mains examination, and I have applied for the Madras Christian College BCA course and the Jamia Millia Islamia BTECH course. I did not receive any response from Madras Christian College, and due to a lower score on JEE Mains, I did not get admission in Jamia Millia Islamia. To get admission in my college, MAKAUT, I appeared for the MAKAUT CET, which was held in online mode, but I was not selected for MAKAUT. But to one of its affiliate colleges, RCCIIT, but after some days, I saw a direct admission notice on the MAKAUT official website, and I got direct admission in BCA....Read More

A comprehensive review of MAKAUT , WB

I and my parents had decided that , I'll take admission in a good college within a feasible distance from my home in WB. So , I had applied to CS/IT branches in Jadavpur university , Government college of engineering and leather technology and MAKAUT . Out of these first I got selected in GCELT , later I got MAKAUT . I chose MAKAUT over the previous one because It had a bigger campus and better infrastructure . I got rejected from Jadavpur because of my rank of state rank of 3600... which is not enough for a general candidate to get into CS/IT branches of it. The admission process is straightforward. After getting selected through the counselling process you get an intimation from the university to visit the campus for document verification. The eligibility is you need to clear WBJEE exam with a decent rank and the cutoff depends on a lot of factors the difficulty of the exam , no. of students who appeared for it etc....Read More
