Remarks
I took admission through Jee Mains. The admission was granted through Joint Admission Councelling between colleges like NSUT, DTU, etc The process was simple we had to select between courses and rank them as per our preferred choices. There are many rounds of councelling although I would suggest to go early on the document verification day
Course Curriculum Overview
I was alloted Computer Engineering in my 2nd round of councelling, it was my preferred choice. Student teacher ration in class was 1:75. Some of the teachers are very good and flexible. Although some are quiet traditional in their way to teaching. DTU took care of exams quiet well during COVID times by conducting them online.
Internships Opportunities
DTU also provides many in-campus internship opportunities as well. You could also inter with a faculty member. I would suggest having a good profile and have a good amount of projects as it will help you get internships and PPO as well
Placement Experience
DTU provides plenty of placement opportunities. Companies come every after peak palcement season. Your placement would also depend upon your hard work as there is a good amount of competition amongst students
Fees and Financial Aid
The campus provides a good amount of opportunities for jobs and internships. But there is a good amount of competition among students so one would have to prepare well from the beginning. DTU also provides financial assistance in many different forms.
Campus Life
Classrooms are well maintained with AC in every room. The library is well equiped with books but due to increased seats, the library fills up quite fast. DTU is working on expanding and constuction is underway. There are a good amount of cultural and technical fests and many extracurricular activities and clubs.
