Remarks
I had taken admission through uptu counselling in the year 2021 and this year it was first time that all students are getting admission through their Jee mains rank so many problems came during this process. Many times councelling stopped and postponed due to some issues, so if they improve that thing then it will be more beneficial for student's and to everyone.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this college, there are basically 4 types of exams in each sem which were conducted which includes the 2CT 1PUE and 1SEM exam. The level of the paper is average so you have to study well to score more than 9 CGPA. The end sem exams will be held in July and overall CGPA will be given on the basis of both sem.
Internships Opportunities
You will get many internship opportunities here from the 3rd sem itself. Our college has more than 350 recruiters. Almost 80% of the students got internships in electrical companies or IT companies. Most of the students got internships in startups. The top role offered is SDE by Amazon.
Placement Experience
The placement is very good here. We have our own placement cell which helps in students placement . The placement starts from 6th sem itself and in this year 2021-2022 the placement stats are far better than any other college with avg CTC of 6.02 lakhs and the highest package of 44.24 lakh was offered by amazon to 23 students which is highest package till now and it will continue to increase in coming years. Many big companies visit here like Amazon, Samsung, TCS, Wipro, Adobe, etc which provides approx 85% placement to the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for 1st year is 1.36 lakh which include 1.12 lakh tuition fees and the rest fees are included in admission, wifi, medical, etc. The scholarship is being given by AKTU every year to students and the school also provides scholarships to students scoring exceptionally good in their sem exams. They also provide financial support in project making for various competitions.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite good in this college. It is not located at the main city it is somewhat in the outer area but you will get full enjoyment here. A lot of technical & annual fest is conducted. Epoque - The biggest annual fest of KIET in which many big celebrities come which are held in the month of March as last year neha Kakkar along with DJ Nucleya enlightened the night of the whole campus. Frescos - This is organised for freshers every year for a good start in their college.
Hostel Facilities
Basically, there are 2 hostels for 1st year. CV Raman and Chandragupta. The fee for the hostel is 94000. CV Raman is like a hostel you will be given every facility like wifi, good infrastructure, Proper ventilation, etc Chandragupta is like a normal hostel with an attached bathroom in it In both hostels mess, food is approx same and the quality of the food is quite good here with a different menu every day.
