Remarks

I applied for the MBA program at DTU because of its placement records, infrastructure, and faculty. The college is walking distance away from my home and it is one of the popular colleges of New Delhi. The admission is done based on your CAT score and students should obtain a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PD students) followed by GD/PI.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is designed in a way that helps you to polish your skills and develop managerial skills. The curriculum meets all the latest industrial norms and standards you won't feel that the curriculum is outdated like many other over-rated B-schools.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college placement committee guides you properly for internships programs. I was able to get an internship in the company that visited the campus during internship programs and I received a 25000/- stipend for 7-weeks of internships program.

Placement Experience

DTU offers lots of placement opportunities and the college placement committee is very helpful. More than 250 companies recruit from the college. Companies like Paytm, Amazon, Coca Cola India visit the campus. The highest salary package for our batch was 17 LPA and the lowest was 7 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college also provides scholarships for SC/ST/PD students. Scholarship on a merit basis is also provided. I was unable to get a scholarship. For more details about scholarships, you can visit the college's official website or visit the campus.

Campus Life

The campus is spread around 164 acres of land. The campus life of campus is good you will feel bored that is for sure. The library is equipped with lots of books almost books of all the author is available in the library. The college Gym is equipped with modern exercise equipment.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels' rooms are very spacious and ventilated. Students do not have to worry about their security at all. The hostel is full of all kinds of facilities for students there is a common room in every building which is equipped with LCD TV, Table Tennis, Carom, Chess. The rooms are well maintained and cleaned 3 a week.

The faculty of the college are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They know how to engage students for studies. The faculty are easily approachable to clear all your doubts.

Honesty is the Best Policy

Placement Experience:

I am in the 1st year, so the question of placement goes out of discussion. The 2nd yr students have just come back from SIP and have a positive review. As per the favculty the placement are to be exxpected in the range of 15-25lacs.

LBSIM Delhi : An Institution with Value-driven Management with Elite Finance Infrastructure

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 4th trimester onwards. The placement rate is consistently nearby 100%. Prominent recruiters include Delloite, KPMG, Pwc, EY and market firms like Motilal Oswal, Oxane and ICICI Bank. The average domestic package stands comfortably around 12,40,000 and the top 10% of the batch secures close to over 16,00,000. Prominent roles offered include - Management Trainee, Financial Analyst and Consulting roles for finance students. My immediate plans after the degree is to secure a core placement in an Equity Research Role.

Placement Experience:

The pavement opportunities at lbsim are good especially for tier 2 b school the institute has a dedicated placement cell that actively works with recruiters and supports student throughout the placement process. Regular training sessions on aptitude resume building group discussions mock interviews and communications skills help students prepare for campus recruitment.

Industry oriented PGDM with good learning and placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

LBSIM offers good placement support with students becoming eligible after the summer internship. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG,EY ,Infosys, Accenture, ICICI Bank and Wipro visit the campus. The average package is around 12 to 13 lakhs per annum with higher offer offers for top performers, placement support, industry, exposure and alumni guidance are strong. I plan to pursue a business analytics role after completing the course.

Fresher at Lbsim

Placement Experience:

The placements here is decent , good companies visit here , also the college is now been accredited with AACSB , which will help making the foundation stronger . Highest was 24 lakh , and average of the batch is 12.3 lakh . Almost 90% students get placed at decent position , while the placement cell also support each and every person with their utmost guidance .

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
