BBD:- A WORLD WITHIN

The basic eligibility for doing Bachelor Of Computer Application Is; should have completed class 12th with maths or computer science as one of the subjects. Application forms are easily available on the website of college; you can apply online or you can visit the campus and ask for the same. The application form costs Rs.1000. The university has a very great call center. Therefore they would call themselves if you show your interest in the website. The college starts accepting the application forms (which are available almost throughout the year) very few days after your class 12th examinations. I think BBD Has one of the best administrations all over Lucknow And the brand says itself. Indeed BBD has a very comprehensive and beautiful infrastructure.

I have a keen interest in Artificial intelligence and 3D Animation and the base of all these is this course. I have a dream to open India's very first 5d Animation and Gaming Studio. Like in my batch there are a total of 180 students divided into three sections. And it is like 1 teacher handles 60 students which are I think very great as in colleges you don't find this kind of student-teacher ratio very easily. The teaching pattern here is great, we receive very timely assignments and also easy comprehensive notes. Here every teacher is either Ph.D. or M.phil and one of our teachers is also from IBM. Teachers are strict and also cool on their part. We enjoy most of the time in class and also study thoroughly in the classroom. Our college started back in September and our 1st sessional exams were in December starting. And the paper was very moderate; like if you study for at least 2 hours in a day you would have a very good score. And our semester is also planned for mid-January.

Internships are provided here by our placements cell which is very much active and companies like TCS, NIIT, BYJUS, HCL tech bee(those companies which basically have their headquarters in Lucknow) visit our campus very often. Roles are of Internee, Sales Executive, tech executive, etc. Our seniors are given the task of website development, data looping, ethical hacking, etc. And many other tasks in their training.

As per my course after completing the 5th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements. And in my course approximately 50% choose placements and rest go on for higher studies or preparation of govt, college, job entrance exams. Since I am in my first year so I don't have knowledge about the no. Of offers made but you see 70% of the students get placed around a package of 1.5-3-5 L per Annum. The highest package probably is 4 L per Annum and the Lowest is 1.2 L per Annum. My plans are to get my master's done in computer applications and work hard on my animation skills.

I have no idea about the fees hike policy but for my first year, it is 80,200 which is 40,100 rs for 1st Semester and the same goes for the second semester. Yes, you can say the fees are a bit high but also it is worth the education. The bus charges are 20,000 for a year and the bus routes are superb all over Lucknow. The cost which adds on is of copy pen pencils only. Nothing more than that. And else depends on you how much you spend on your part. The University also provides scholarships for the class 12th scholars based on their intermediate percentage. The university gives relaxation in tuition fees and nothing more than that. Also, you can apply on the UP government scholarship Portal. If you meet the requirement. Since I am in my first year so I don't much know about the placements but as per my best knowledge our 75% of the seniors are very well placed in reputed organizations like TCS, Wipro, IBM, HCL, etc. At an average of 1.3 - 3.5 L per Annum. We also have internships available.

There are two annual fests organized in our college one is in the month of December and it is called Akhil Jyot and one is organized in March i.e. Utkarsh. And tech fest happens every three months. We have a separate library for every faculty and our Library, computer labs are very amazing on their part, our librarian is also very kind and understanding. No. Of books can be issued at a time by students. Our classroom is well furnished and our Aya Didi's keep it very clean. We have air-conditioned classes which are of course very useful in summers and in every faculty there are lifts installed which make it easier for going to the 3rd or 4th floor. We have a very big cricket ground and actually, our ground is very famous in Lucknow. We have types of sports in our college like kabbadi volleyball cricket badminton etc. And various competitions are organized in our colleges and also inter-college. There are various student clubs like a social club, aaina,abhinay, technovibes, IEEE, etc.
