Remarks

Top colleges in Delhi after IIT,DTU is on 4th rank in Delhi colleges.one of the best Campus,environment & # ENGIFEST(famous Engg. Fest in DTU). Hostel facility, sports facilities,Bus facilities, Medical facilities &Canteen facilities etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think Curriculum is good,good Faculties member of Civil Deptt. All staff members are helpful.Benefit is that what professors teach us in the class is sufficient for exam.because DTU itself a university and conduct their own exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

Google,Lnt,Infosys,Wipro,Delloitee etc.A student start to make their own Ventilators and supply to the hospitals where needed.Many Company visited and Job fair too.Late Sushant Singh Rajput (an excellentActor) -Alumuni

College Events

There is a big festival in the Dtu Named "Engivisit.students from many colleges are eager to visit in our college.and in the sports field there is big participation too.one of the best in sports all sports available.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed every year Delhi Govt.Merit Cum Means scholarship.Many scholarships are available for applicants in Dtu websites regularly.there is SBI bank in the campus where we can apply for Education loan too.

Campus Life

Large Campus,as I am in 2nd year but i didn't visit all places in campus area yet.Computer centre,library,canteen & Auditorium etc. are large and their design is also cool.better airy Environment and no.of trees are in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Placement Experience:

College provides huge opportunities for placement Till now we have around 400 companies who visited our college and still the placements are going on so everyone in the end gets placed Highest package is around 60lpa and the average will be around 9-10 , As i said almost every one gets placed in the end till now 70% are placed

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester onwards. Many companies came and the highest placement was 23 LPA last time. Some courses get less placement than others but overall the opportunities are alright.

Remarks:

This college is a govt. College so the teachers are very good and the tution fees is very less. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have a good campus. Other than that everything like computers lab, mechanical labs are all in good conditions so students won't miss out much except in the sports area.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
