KIET University, B.TECH

Reviewed on Aug 3, 2020

Remarks

When I was searching the colleges and that time I came to know that KIET is also the best college . Then I searched the college and it was in the top 5 colleges in UP. So I decided to take college between them and according to that I filled the form.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are many different courses in the college such as Btech, MBA, MCA, B-pharma . Courses are followed according to the syllabus provided by the University. But the courses are not updated. It seems like that you are reading old text books. Facilities are interactive and good. If anyone have any difficulties then he/she can talk to the facilitie without any hesitation.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

In the college there is IPC building which mainly works on the Placements for the students. Placement and job opportunities are very good. Many companies visits the college in seek of the students for the job.

College Events

Campus Life in the college is good. Senior are very interactive with the juniors. No ragging in the college . There are rules for girls in the college if any guy harrases any girl. In the college 5-6 events take place in a year. Extracurricular activities also take place in the college. Many sports fest and scientific fest also .

Fees and Financial Aid

Not availed any type of scholarship. But they is a scholarship you can avail. If you score good marks and rank in university exam then you can avail scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure of the college is good but not very vast infrastructure. Sports facilities are very good in the college. Different sports fields are there like football field , cricket field , volleyball court, badminton court. Wifi facilitie is also good in the college. In every building there is a wifi connection. The size of the library is huge . In exam time anyone can go and study there. Labs and equipments in the labs are also very good.

Hostel Facilities

Not opted hostel because I came to know that the mesh food is not good and infrastructure of the hostel is also not good. So I not opted for the hostel. But during my academic session I visited the hostel then the infrastructure is quite good.

Does LL.M in integral University worthy

Likes

It is having nice infrastructure and other facilities for both the girls and boys students.
They are having girls common room in each building of the college.
The washroom facilities are very good and hygienic

Dislikes

The time tables are bit tiring and exhaustive
There are plenty of assignments and assessment test
There are many competitions held at a time so some times it becomes exhaustive

Placement Experience:

The placement facility is very good. University has it's own placement cell. Alumni and recent graduated students are eligible for the placements . As well as from second year students are eligible for the internship opportunities. Many companies come and select students from campus interview rounds. Many companies select students through online mode like Google meet. Students get regular notification mail and sms regarding job opportunities by the placement Cell as well as faculties also share job opportunities and internship opportunities in the college groups . So that students can apply who all are interested. Almost 95% students get campus placement during their last year or semester. The average package given to the student is 6-8 LPA and the highest package range about 24-25 LPA. My plans are to give competitive exams and doing PhD for further qualification.

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

If I talk about my college that i appreciate is the best part of environment very much good and more than best other government colleges in mzn
Our campus life is okay okay!! Cause I'm not that part of campus life. So I don't enjoy that part of my college.
I truly talking about faculty's it is genuine with us . And teaching methods is best every teachers always the right time in the classroom.

Dislikes

No more provided placements in our college cause it is a government. But always support teachers for providing for career development.
It's a properly government college. So more more facilities in our college and campus life other students who studied about coursees.
I did completed Bachelors of commerce in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ok, if I talk about my course, I have done B.Com from there and B.Com is a very good level course. It means there is a degree in it and I had to prepare for government job and from the beginning I had taken commerce in 11th class, so I found B.Com very suitable for me and as far as exams are concerned, B.Com means good study. Our college used to teach us very well, so I had also taken tuitions together, so it was quite good. My experience means it did not seem so difficult. I found it very difficult, I used to get very good exams and I cleared it very well without any back.

My decision was I could say influenced by my elder brother and I don't regret taking admission here. I applied to all AKTU colleges got rejected only from IET LUCKNOW and KNIT SULTANPUR purely due to percentile reason Other than that I got all the colleges including BIET JHANSI. I chose this one due to placement of the 2022 batch. Admission happens here through JEE MAINS and DIRECT ADMISSION as well For my course if you are general then you should have atleast 90+ percentile if you are from home state that is UP. Direct Admission happens on the basis of 12th result for CSE you need near around 90 percentage...Read More
