Remarks
It's the sole government college in the state Jharkhand and there was no tuition fees incurred from girl child. Till 2016, the Entrance is from JCECE exam taken separately by the jharakhand govt But recently this college is included through JEE Mains and added 10% reservation from other states to diversified the culture.

By every passing years Curriculum is getting modernized as per the need of the Industries, students are getting opportunities for industry tour and projects, innovative skills are welcomed, faculties are supportive and learned although classroom study is quite traditional which needs to be improvised

Highest package 10.12 lakhs by Honda and then by Tata steel. For IT companies TCS, wipro, ericcson, sify etc while core companies include vedanta, ABG, Jindal, Tata motors. BITSAA this is our alumni Association having various chapters in different states and foreign as well. Every year there is alumni meet in college where different programs are conducted and scholarships by our esteemed alumni are provided.
College Events
Technical activities are Highly encouraged in campus but Cultural activities are not supported much by administration. Every year We See around 1000+ participation in Technical events organized by the collabration of Technical clubs of college. Cultural clubs also managed to organize events and celebrities are invited. We also won prizes in inter college events.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is strong alumni connect. BITSAA, which provide yearly scholarship to merit and needy students. Apart from that various others scholarships are there for financially backward classes. This college has very low fees and thus High return of investment
Campus Life
Equipmemts in labs need to be replaced as some of them are not functional. Recently developed labs for various department by Seimens is bridging the gap between Industries and education system. Libraries are well equipped with all the necessities. WiFi facilities are improvised. Sports and field works are added to Compulsory part of Curriculum.
Hostel Facilities
Food is comparatively good in girls Hostel than boys. All other facilities are UP to the mark. Recently a new Hostel is constructed to reduce the no of students per room. For mess, 3000 Rs per month to be paid. Electricity and Hostel fee is merely 5000 for 4 Years.
