DBS is one of Dehradun's best B-schools and one of North India's top-15 private B-schools. It also has a good placement track record, with competitive packages, which made it my first option. The admissions process is merit-based. Following that, there is a group discussion and a personal interview, after which I was fortunate enough to be shortlisted. I had to go through counselling and career guidance as well.

The college has a strong online marketing strategy. Because the management isn't very good, you'll have to put in a lot of effort to get your work done. The learning environment is excellent, and all of the lecturers are helpful, but the college's fine structure is inadequate.

Students at Doon Business College have availability to a summer internship program and industry visits. Students must present for internship interviews in college, and students can receive a decent stipend from the internship. I got selected in an insurance company.

More than 42 firms come to our campus for final placement, including Byjus, Kotak, Vmart, Wipro, ADDA, Berger Paints, and others. They choose applicants, and after the second semester, you are entitled to sit in the placement based on some broad criteria. Because to covid, there are less companies exhibiting interest this year, and roughly 60% of the batch is placed. The maximum package is 15 lacs, and the average is 5 lacs.

This college's tuition is reasonable, and I won't need to take out a loan if I attend. But if student needs he can avail the loan provided by the college for Management students. This college offers me a scholarship of almost 40%, and it is an average college with a Dehradun aura, which is a genuine dream come true sensation.

Our hostel mess is large and well-equipped with dining furnishings. It offers us with hygienic and nutrient-dense food. Every one of us has the authority to decide on the weekly menu and how meals are made and presented. It offers separate boarding and lodging facilities for boys and girls, with rooms available in double and triple occupancy, as well as laundry, Wi-Fi, and Yoga for the girls and a Gymnasium for the guys.

I completed the application and was then offered a date for an interview and group discussion. I went to the interviews and group discussion and was eventually chosen and later I received a call letter from the college instructing me to report to the institute on a specific date with all necessary documents such as my mark sheet, birth certificate, and etc.
