Remarks
First of all, I appeared NEET-UG and secured a score of 560/720. Then state government released the state merit list and my rank was 50, then counseling is conducted and I got JMCH during counseling. Counseling is conducted just after the neet result. I got a reservation as I belong to the OBC category.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course MBBS as I want to be a good doctor. My class has 150 students and around 30 faculties in each department. All faculty are doctors and they teach us on whiteboard and projector. Semester Exams are conducted after every 3 months and professional exams are conducted at the end of the season. Semester exam is easy to pass but professional exams are difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the entire course are around 1.5lakhs which is affordable and less than any private medical College which costs around 50lakhs. Poor students especially those whose family income is less than 4.5lakhs get the Ishan Uday scholarship which pays around 78k per year. For the application for a scholarship, we have to register on a national portal scholarship.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is symchis. It is conducted during the month of September. Every year student union conducts college week. During college week they conduct various competitions like sports, dancing, singing, etc. Our library has almost all medical books but lacks magazines and newspapers.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel we have single bed room and double bed room. Rooms are very clean. Hostel is allotted from college administration. Meals are provided 3 times a day and dinner is very tasty. During dinner we get chicken, fish, eggs. Near to our college PG are available at low cost.
