- Reputation of the college is really good.

- Small campus, not much to explore, no cricket field.
- College environment is not that good, one can still manage though.
- Senior-junior interaction is not healthy. Freshers would suffer from anxiety in front of seniors.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the course is MBBS, it's better I don't speak anything, bcoz everybody knows it's demand. As per the real world application is concerned, the course has 1 year internship integrated which makes us competent to face real life problems positively.
Internships Opportunities
1 year Internship is integrated with the course, you'll have to work according to your schedules be it day shift or night. Intership salary of around 37000 is provided by the Assam State Government. There's enough patient flow to learn.
Fees and Financial Aid
College took only ?15000 as admission fees for the entire 5yr course. Hostel admission fees : ?6000. Hostel fees ?3000 every month. One can definitely apply for various scholarships like ONGC, Ishan Uday scholarship, etc. other merit based scholarships.
Campus Life
Annual festival : PANACHE . Celebrated in our college weeks. This is organised by the respected JORHAT MEDICAL COLLEGE STUDENTS ASSOCIATION ( JMCSA ). College library is full of different medical books, journals, also we have online free access to various international journals. During college weeks, different sport competitions happen and we get a chance to show our talents.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are really dirty, small. Boys Hostel will make you vomit. New circular boys hostel is really beautiful, has large rooms, well comfy. Personal alimrahs available but this is only for 1st year students. Mess food is bad, not many options, chicken and paneer are just worse than the worst ever.
Admission
I had applied for Silchar medical College and Guwahati medical College, but as the cutoffs were higher than my NEET24 marks, I could not make it to SMCH and GMCH. ADMISSION PROCESS : Qualify NEET with marks more than the cutoff.
Faculty
Definitely there are some good faculties as well as some rude ones. Most of the facilities are not easily approachable, but if one manages to build a good relationship, then it becomes really easy. We have Formative assessments in every around 2 weeks, PCTs after completion of topics. And internal exams after each trimester.l
Night Life
There's not much for night life , our college does not have much infra for that, gym is well developed. Cafeteria is currently converted to mess for some reason. for boys hostel, there's no timing. Upto 4pm in the afternoon, we have classes. It's not that safe outside late night
