Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

We are having now new MCI curriculum which is slightly different from the old curriculum. I want to be a good doctor so I chose the course MBBS and this college is in my hometown. Our all professors are doctors, they have lots of experience in hospital and medical-related stuff. They teach us on the PowerPoint projector. They divide us into small groups to teach in practical classes. They conduct exams after every 3 months and at the end of the season, they conduct an annual professional exam which is very tough. Faculties are very much helpful for the students.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

College provides one year of internship with a minimum stipend. Since the college is a government college, placements are not a big problem. Students are offered internships and clinical exposures on campus. After completing the course, you can get admission into college. After completion of internship we have to go for a compulsory rural posting for 1 year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees for a government medical college are far less than a private medical College. First-year fees are around 30500 and total fees are around 1.5 lakh which is very low as compared to private medical colleges which cost around 50lakhs. We have to pay monthly fees for the hostel mess which cost around 1700. We do get scholarships every year. There are many scholarship opportunities for UG students.

Campus Life

5

Annual fest at our college and it is conducted in near September to October month. Every year student union conduct extracurricular activities like sports, cultural programme. During the college annual fest, we do call some Bollywood stars to sing on the stage. All medical-related books are available in the library. Nowadays daily newspapers, magazines are also available in the library. Every year we are having a college week in which we used to conduct many sports and other extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

5

Both single and double rooms are available in the hostel. provided in the hostel have proper lights, fans, well ventilated. There are both single and double rooms. In the mess, they provide meals 3 times a day and dinner is most tasty. The registration for the hostel is done on the college and is allotted on the basis of NEET rank. Nearby a metro pg is there, the monthly expenditure on pg is around 10k.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is not at all easy like all the other courses but since this course deals with life and death situations I would say the practical applications introduction has lead to a better side of this course. This course is completedly real world based curriculum. The faculty members are well equipped to everything they teach and the methods currently focus on application based studies. This course has many exams each month and therefore the student has to study properly.

I always wanted to be a doctor so that I could cure people and help them to get rid of various diseases. The faculty: student ratio is approx 1:4 The faculty are highly qualified with MBBS, MD, MS, DM, March, and various other degrees done by them. The teaching process includes lectures in the classroom with the help of smart slides. Almost every month there are exams but there are internals every 3 months and finally the finals. Medical study is one of the toughest courses to pass as we need to know about a lot of different things all at once
