Remarks
Technically speaking it is a good college when comes to syllabus, academics, discipline, course conduction etc, when it comes to cultural side it lags a bit but it all depends on individuals priorities.
Entrance Preview
I went through common entrance test karnataka, my score was around 3000, but got info science and engineering in PESIT in first round itself, later i didnt try for any branch change.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculam was good, syllabus was updated yearly. they used to adapt all new books from foreign universities and also used to consider feedback from senior students for deciding the curriculam.
Internships Opportunities
Few companies visit college for internships, later they convert them to full time offers, the companies visited for internship are samsung, flipkart etc. They used to give stipend also.
Placement Experience
College has almost 100 percent placement, they have divided tier 1,2,3 companies for placement purpose based on the package they offer, almost all the eligible student ended up with 2 offers.
College Events
We had aatmatrisha techno cultural fest, conducted every year, they do have science fests each year for humanities dept and also conduct regular hackathons tech talks etc. it is more on technical side than cultural side.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure for us was good and affortable, it was common for all those who enter through karnataka CET as far as i heard management seat was bit expensive in terms of donations
Fees and Financial Aid
Govt. scholarships are merit based, college founders also give some scholarship to merit and rural students .But all are whole and sole dependent on academic performance, which has to be maintained.
Campus Life
Campus life is good, it is an engineering college mainly concerned on improving technical skills, knowledge of students. They do conduct cultural events but little less. When comes to rules regarding attendance, discipline it is a strict college which monitors students like school children, it is good if you are more concerned on academics.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is vast, all are in well reputed companies and most have perused their masters and settled broad too. they do encourage alumni interactions, bi annual alumini meets, buddy sessions to help junior students etc.
Faculty
Faculty were good, all were MTEch, few senior faculty in the department were having phd also we used to call them as resource person. Who helped u in final year project all those stuff.
