Remarks
Anyone willing to take admission in DTU has to appear for JEE mains. According to your JEE mains CRL, you will be allotted a branch according to your preference. Since DTU is a state government college 85% reservation is given Delhi residing candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview
First of all, I chose this course because I am fond of mathematics. All the faculty and teachers we are under are at least Ph.D. Mathematics and computing mainly comprise mathematics and computer science subjects.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that come for summer internships. The students can also apply off-campus for an internship as there are also lots of opportunities. The stipends offered to vary but the highest stipend offered this year was 2 lakhs per annum.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college are very good. Every known and the big company comes for recruitment for different posts. The highest package offered is around 43 lakhs per annum. Most of the companies allow all the students irrespective of the beach but few core companies are branch specific.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of the curriculum are approximately 9 lakhs and if you are residing in a hostel, there will be an extra 60000 expenditure for hostel rent and mess. The fees of the college are gradually increasing for every academic year. The college and Delhi govt also provide financial assistance to the students whose family income is under a certain amount.
Campus Life
The campus of Delhi Technological University is approximately 164 acres with lush green trees everywhere. All the important books are available in the college library. The sports complex also have multiple basketball and volleyball court with a football and cricket ground.
Hostel Facilities
DTU has 6 hostels for boys. Every hostel room is equipped with a bed, table, and cupboard. Lan and wifi facilities are also provided in every hostel room. The yearly hostel rent is approximately 60000 which also includes mess facilities.
