Entrance Preview

No Entrance test was required then when I had applied in 2009. Admission was on the basis of your 12th grade marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The five year course is divded into 3+2 style for degree. In the third year you get your first degree BSL and after completion of five years you get LLB.

Internships Opportunities

I did three internships at law firms during my Course. If you are opting for litigation kindly dont expect any stipend what soever. If you are inclined towards other non-litigation jobs then there are chances of lucrative stipends and salaries.

Placement Experience

2

Decent if opting for non-law firm optionsVery few law firms visit our college and their criteria is so high that barely 1% would be selected thereout of 12 who had applied during our times some 30-50 people were placed. Highest package was 16 lacs Companies/ Law firms which visited our College during that time Thomas Reuiters, ONGC, Wipro, Mahindra etc.

College Events

4

Its a culturally rich college and due to diversity of the students there are several clubs and societies spread across various subjects.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Affordable until recently. Since I was a student from Maharashtra the fees ranged from 13000-16000/ year.During the five year course which excludes the examination fees and several other fees such fees for the Clubs etc. Fee structure has changed after 2014 so I have less idea about it.

Fees and Financial Aid

None I am aware of. But I had a classmate who was visually disabled and he was given scholarship. Moreover if you are from certain reserved category College itself offers scholarships if you manage to score certain category of marks.

Campus Life

3

Gender Ratio Boys: Girls is 1:2 Hostel conducts freshers and farewell parties, since I was not a Hostelite I would not be a better person to answer that question. There were several workshops held in the College on topics such as 'Gender Equality'. 'How to Act', 'Capital Punishments'Also there are several National and International Seminars and Conferences which are held in the College from time to time.Campus life is worth enjoying there due to the vast acres of land ILS owns.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors of your College are worth to be connected with. They are usually the ones who teach you more than the Professors doThey are extremely helpful during inter college competitions.

Exam Structure

The College had a Semester pattern thus exams were conducted every six months. We get good one month Preparatory Leave before each exam and syllabus is quite easy, for only theory based questions are asked and rarely any problem based questions are asked. Moreover if you study the question papers thoroughly then it would be easier for you to predict the questions which would come in the examination.
