Remarks
Born and brought up in Delhi, I have done my schooling from Delhi itself. For the graduation, I didn't feel the need of going outside my hometown. During my 11th and 12th, i prepared for the JEE exam and gave my first attempt. My first preference was DTU since it holds an excellent academic and placement record. I also sat for the interview round. My application submission was done online and i submitted a registration fee of Rs. 1500.
Course Curriculum Overview
Pursuing a technical degree from a technical university is always the right choice. DTU has a great curriculum set for B.Tech. In these four years, i have learnt a lot. Industrial experts were also invited in the campus for seminars and guest lectures. Practical and theory part kept equal weightage in a student's credits. All the professors were research scholars in their respective fields and some of them have even published research papers.
Placement Experience
Alumni of DTU are now placed in conglomerates earning a good amount of money. In the previous batch, more than 300 companies visited the campus. 1500+ offers were made to the students sitting for the placements. Highest CTC was Rs.1.09 CPA. Google, Microsoft, Myntra, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Deloitte were the top recruiters of the week. Atlassian offered the highest CTC.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available for the students who belong to SC/ST/OBC category and for the meritorious students. More than 50 students were offered the merit scholarship in the former batch. Students who have scored more than 8 SGPA and family income less than 5 lakhs can apply for the scholarship.
Campus Life
Delhi's life is famous all over the country and so is the campus life of its colleges. Due to the pandemic, half of the college years went online but the time I spent at the university was awesome. All of the events were a huge success. Some T.V and Bollywood personalities also visited the campus for their movie promotions. I personally loved the tech fest and I also participated in the competitions.
