Remarks

DTU was suggested to me by my guidance counselor. After appearing for my CAT exam, I was very confused as to what college I should apply to. All the universities seemed to provide the same course structure and opportunities. My guidance counselor told me how DTU had a slight edge over the others and also how based on my score admission would be easy. The application fee was Rs. 1900 for the general category and Rs.900 for SC/ST, PwD / DA students. One needs to go through personal interviews and group discussion rounds as well before the final admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The program focuses on enhancing the capabilities of the students to lead and manage businesses. Effective communication skills, strategic problem solving, networking skills, resource and time management, analytical skills were the main learning parts of the course. Guest speakers were invited to conduct seminars for the students. The level of proficiency of the professors was very good.

Placement Experience

Even in the pandemic, DTU observed some of its best placements as compared to other years. More than 300 companies participated offering the highest CTC of Rs. 1.09 CPA (international) and Rs. 51.75 LPA (domestic). 1500+ offers were made to the deserving candidates. The top recruiters of the week were Deloitte, Intuit, Myntra, JP Morgan, Zomato, McKinsey & Company, Accenture, BCG, and RBS.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the MBA course were Rs. 3.96 lakhs inclusive of the tuition fee. I found the tuition fee to be a bit higher as compared to the other colleges. I didn't fill out any form for the scholarship nor applied for a loan from the bank or any financial institution. One can avail of a merit scholarship provided the family income is less than five lakhs per annum and 8 CGPA or above is maintained in each semester.

Campus Life

My two years at the DTU campus went very well. Cultural societies like Pratibimb, Vibe, Bhangra, Panache, Kalakriti usually attracted students in huge numbers for membership. Members of these societies participated and won in competitions where ever the university was invited. The innovation team involved Team Inferno, Team Raftaar, Team Supermileage, Deltech Baja, and many others.

Honesty is the Best Policy

Placement Experience:

I am in the 1st year, so the question of placement goes out of discussion. The 2nd yr students have just come back from SIP and have a positive review. As per the favculty the placement are to be exxpected in the range of 15-25lacs.

LBSIM Delhi : An Institution with Value-driven Management with Elite Finance Infrastructure

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 4th trimester onwards. The placement rate is consistently nearby 100%. Prominent recruiters include Delloite, KPMG, Pwc, EY and market firms like Motilal Oswal, Oxane and ICICI Bank. The average domestic package stands comfortably around 12,40,000 and the top 10% of the batch secures close to over 16,00,000. Prominent roles offered include - Management Trainee, Financial Analyst and Consulting roles for finance students. My immediate plans after the degree is to secure a core placement in an Equity Research Role.

The pavement opportunities at lbsim are good especially for tier 2 b school the institute has a dedicated placement cell that actively works with recruiters and supports student throughout the placement process. Regular training sessions on aptitude resume building group discussions mock interviews and communications skills help students prepare for campus recruitment.

Industry oriented PGDM with good learning and placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

LBSIM offers good placement support with students becoming eligible after the summer internship. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG,EY ,Infosys, Accenture, ICICI Bank and Wipro visit the campus. The average package is around 12 to 13 lakhs per annum with higher offer offers for top performers, placement support, industry, exposure and alumni guidance are strong. I plan to pursue a business analytics role after completing the course.

Placement Experience:

The placements here is decent , good companies visit here , also the college is now been accredited with AACSB , which will help making the foundation stronger . Highest was 24 lakh , and average of the batch is 12.3 lakh . Almost 90% students get placed at decent position , while the placement cell also support each and every person with their utmost guidance .

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
