Remarks

The eligibility of my course is 75 percent in 10th and 12th. The University provide it's own entrance exam know as CGET ,we can apply for this entrance exam from the college's official website which is cgu-odisha.ac.in . The form filling dates are given by the college mostly in the month of May to July

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was very good at computer science from my 10 th and 12 th ,so i opted for this course. The faulty student ratio in this college is really appreciable as it is 1:30 which cannot be seen in most of the college Most of the teachers here are highly qualified as they have a PhD degree , The teaching methods of the professor here are very good as each and very student has a mentor who guide them throughout the semester The exams are conducted twice a year which is mid semester and end semester As due to covid the exam have been conducted in online mode as well as offline mode. The standard of the paper is above average So it is little bit difficult to get good marks .

Internships Opportunities

Students can apply for scholarship in various companies like Google , Microsoft through the college or online from 3rd year . The college also provide project which gives the student practical knowledge about there course and branch which later help them in their job

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for placement in the 6th semester or 3rd year . Many companies like tcs, Google ,Wipro have visited and made offers to students on campus. The highest package is provided by Google of 28 lakh per annum and the average package is 3-5 lakh per annum. Most of the student get placement in this college which is 90 percent of the student My plans after getting the degree is to get a higher degree like m.tech

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in this college is comparatively low than the other colleges in odisha , and also the hostel expenses are affordable. The college provide scholarship through government schemes such as pragya schemes etc. The campus selection in this college is appreciable more over 90 percent student get campus selected

Campus Life

The campus in this college is huge with eco-friendly environment student enjoy being in the college campus. There are many event and fest like the anubhuti dramatic club provides. The college's library provide good books and journals which helps the student with their personal growth and studies. The classrooms here are spacy and has modern technology led board which makes the class interesting and not boring. The college also provide opportunities in sports and extra curricular activities which help the students to become more social There are clubs and website runned by the students of the college of 3rd and 4th year

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

A journey that will help you learn a lot.

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

I gave her and applied for colleges like bit sindri, lpu, chandigarh university but was not able to get bit and lpu was to costly which was out of budget for me . It was easy decision to choose cv raman as my relatives also studied from here and also fees was comparitively less. An Honest Look at Life and Learning at CV Raman Global University

I chose CV Raman Global University over some other colleges I applied to mainly because it offered my preferred course with reasonable fees, decent infrastructure and an acceptable placement record. I had also applied to a few government and well-known private colleges, but I could not secure admission there due to higher cutoffs, strong competition and rank limitations in entrance exams. Compared to those colleges, CVRGU provided quicker confirmation, flexible admission timelines and a clear course structure, which made the decision easier. The admission process was smooth and student-friendly, based on eligibility criteria like minimum marks in Class 12 for UG courses, and it accepts exams such as JEE Main along with merit-based admissions. Most students prefer JEE Main, though cutoffs are moderate compared to top-tier colleges. Reality of college

Comparing to different colleges such as iter or kiit universities then here you get good opportunity to participate in different clubs and show off their skill infront of the officials . Talking about placements then student will get fair opportunity but the thing is that if your score is less than 60% in 10th or 12th then you were not eligible for the campus drive .
