Currently, I am pursuing BCA and for pursuing it there was an entrance exam for this course and the selection criteria was, the students must have 1 language like English and math or any other IT subject like IP, Python, etc.

I joined this course because I want to be a programmer and this course helps me to achieve my dream life with the help of the Great faculties of this college, the student's teachers ratio is 1:60 per section and the average qualification of faculties was higher than expected like Ph.D. engineering and so on, Due to covid there is the delaying in the exam and the difficultly level is average.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

Talking about the placement of college is very good coz there is 60 students in each class and about half of all students applying for on campus placement from 5th semester and all of them mostly gets the placement with fine package of 4-10 lakh per annum packages, In vips many well famously companies visits for providing jobs like wipro, Infosys, and 40+ others.

Fees and Financial Aid

Vips are a private institute so the fees will be higher than my expectations which is 110,000 for the first year and 105,000 for the second and 105,000 for the third year which includes many facilities like book bank, and there is some financial assistance from other firms but not much worthy for all the students only for those whose complete the circumstances for these scholarships and the average placement percentage is 50% of all the students

In VIPS there are lots of societies which help students to grow and learn new skills with their course of interest with annually lots of functions, Infrastructure of the college is fine, not bad and there is 2 big and 1 center building of the college with fully Air conditioning rooms and peaceful environment for studying, Talking about campus life is good

"Convenient and recognised distance learning"

My overall experience a IGNOU has been good the universities very helpful for students who want flexible and affordable education along with other responsibilities
The study material provided by IGNOU is detailed and easy to understand and the examination process is transparent
One of the best thing about IGNOU is its low fee structure and flexibility in learning

Dislikes

However there are some areas that need improvement sometime the administrative process can be slow and getting quick responsive from study centre may take time
Campus life is limited compared to regular colleges because IGNOU mainly focus on distance learning
Placement support exist but is not a strongest regular University so students upon need to rely on their own skills and efforts

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would read the IGNOU courses curriculum has good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the syllabus is well structured and design for distance learning with study material explain concept clearly and support service study this flexibility and affordability for the main reason I choose this course the curriculum provides are strong theoretical foundation and is useful for father studies as well as basic professional knowledge how ever Addy more practical exposure life internet is session and update industrial oriented content could make the course even better IGNOU conductor and examination twice a year along with compulsory assignment that contribute to the final marks the exam schedule is convenient and difficulty level is moderates student to follow the study materials and cement on the time can clear the exam without much difficulty or all the curriculum is student friendly relevant and su suitable for learner who prefer flexible higher education while managing other responsibilities.

Faculty gives you a practical implementation and for your betterment always

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was very old I think there was a change in syllabus and activities for the students. Provide practical knowledge and work on skills development rather then written knowledge Because skills helps for placement not anything else.

Canteen was really good, various variety of veg and non-veg food was available
Library was a good place to study and concentrate
Ground area was very big to take a stroll

Dislikes

Too much academic pressure was put as there were exams every 2 weeks
There were no events held through out the 3 years
Very bad placement cell, no opportunities for placement at all

The curriculum was not up to date at all, the languages taught are outdated, I had to persue courses from institutions to gain experience. Very little practical knowledge was given in each subject, the subjects were taught from theory point of view

Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
