Remarks

College admission is based on the centralized allotment process. There are two categories of seats available for the students, Merit quota seats and Management quota seats. The merit quota seats are being filled through the centralized allotment process by the CEE. This process takes into consideration the KEAM rank of the student and provides admission on its basis. Government reservation benefits are available for this category. Management quota seats are filled directly by the college management taking into consideration the merit of the students in their higher secondary examination and KEAM combined. There is no special reservation for this category. The management quota seat application is available on the college website. The merit quota application can be filled out directly from the CEE website.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very tight. There are 8 semesters and each semester is having 6 regular papers and 2 labs. The duration of each semester is 5-6 months. The exam is somewhat tough and is difficult to pass. Exams are conducted at regular intervals. The internal series exams are conducted twice during each semester and the questions are moderate. However, the end-semester examination is very tough and is hard to pass. All the faculties are highly qualified and experienced. All have their post-graduate degree from NITs and IITs and some faculties have their PhDs. The teachers are very supportive and caring. They guide us in all the areas of the subject. The college has an overall pass percentage of 67% for the end-semester examination.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The college provides great opportunities for internships to its students. Almost every student gets a chance to do at least one internship. The college has a dedicated team for facilitating this. Most of the internships are offered by major companies such as Wipro, Infosys, etc. These internships provide a great opportunity for the students to get placement in reputed companies. Roles offered to the students are code testers etc. The major outcome of these internships is that they make students job-ready. And companies are willing to employ such candidates. So overall the college provides great internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

4.5

This is one of the best colleges in terms of the placement opportunities it provides. The placement activities in the college begin from the 7th semester itself and students are given training for this from the first semester itself. Placement activities are conducted by all the major companies including Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. All the companies provide ample job opportunities to the students. Most of the companies recruit students from the CSE department. Almost 62% of students get campus placement offers. The average salary package offered by the companies is around 4LPA. The highest salary package is offered to by the IT sector of around 12LPA. So if you have good knowledge about the course you are pursuing it won't be difficult to get placement opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Like any other private institutions fees structure here too is very expensive. The fees are paid semester wise and each semester costs around 50000. In addition to this, there will be many other expenditures which make the cost of study high and is about 6 lakhs. The college is not allowed for any fee hikes unless notified by the government. The college also offers several scholarships for meritorious students. Students securing more than 95% marks in the higher secondary examination or less than 10k rank in the entrance examination are given a scholarship which reduces the semester fees to 4200. Many more scholarships are also provided based on the merit of the students. So meritorious students don't find the cost of study high. College also assists in availing educational loans and has a separate section for this.

Campus Life

4.5

The college conducts various tech fests and events. The biggest tech fest of the college is the ASTRA which is conducted every year during the even semester. SARGAM event is conducted every year two-three weeks before ASTRA. This is a great opportunity for students to boost their knowledge. The College library is world-class and provides access to all scientific textbook collections necessary for research and curriculum. The college provides well-maintained and equipped digital classrooms. The college conducts its annual sports meet during the even semester. Sports such as basketball, cricket, football, volleyball, etc are promoted in the college. Extracurricular activities such as NSS and NCC are also present in the college. The college has different clubs and societies run by the students like Nature club, Jesus Youth, etc. College also has chapters of different global societies like IEEE and IEDC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
