Entrance Preview

It's a arts and science college, admission process was simple just a small form fill up and then after submission you need to be present in the counselling process which occurs soon after form fill up and submission dates, i chose Chemistry hons. as it was my favourite subject.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is very good. While the college is not belonging to any famous university, still it has some best teachers and is capable of teaching theory and pratctical subjects to the students satisfactorily.

Placement Experience

3

Our college is best at suggesting and giving advices to students about the course's importance. Future scopes and job opportunities, placement is upto the merit of the student, if they are good students with good scores and skills they will definitely get a good job after graduating from our college.

College Events

3

College celebration means social programs, and the freshers welcome, most of the other celebrations like independence day and republic day are holidays but sometimes they are celebrated with the presence of any cheif guest of our town.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes many scholarships are available, depending on the merits of students from 1000-1lakh rs of scholarships are there, i availed one which is of 7000rs per 2 semester or per year, as 2 semesters means 1year.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus is good this college has a large campus area l, grass fields, trees, a computer centre and a small garden. Campus life is like a freedom given to us students like nowhere, gender ratio is like boys are 55-60% and girls are rest 40-45%.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is better with less fees then any other hostels of other colleges or towns, but the mess food is not upto the mark, i will give hostel a '9' fees-9 and the food a '6'.

Alumni/Alumna

All the students are friends of each other there are no tensions among any group of seniors or alumni, our principal teachers and some political party members are always with the alumni, g.s, and the senior students.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
