Management is good they encourage you in your every aspect there were little changes done in management to make it even better and student friendly, in the beginning when we joined and now it's perfect.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for IIT and AIEEE and entered this university with those scores but it is not compulsory that you need a good ranks to enter you can also enter with good state appeared exams. And good scores in your intermediate or 12th.

Internships are great here companies like Snyder electronics, Mahindra and Mahindra, L&T, sulakshana circuits and many came for internships offer with good and acceptable stipends.

There were many companies who came and recruited many, among those IGATE, POLARIS, NTT, and many and we are also getting multiple MNCs this year that is in 2015-16 and you expect even more in the coming years.

College Events

4.5

College has main fest called TRITI a fest for three days where multiple events are conducted and organized with great energy and participation apart from that engineers day and many other fest are conducted here and you can many worships conducted every month.

Fee Structure And Facilities

A bit expensive. It is 85000 tuition fee and and 38000 hostel fee per semester. Fee may vary every year. But every penny you spend is worth here if you really wants to become a true engineer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are offer but you have confirm that with the university alumni for a guarantee and many bank fo offers loans and please contact university desk for those.

Campus Life

5

A good campus life a complete different world, 40 kms away from city, calm and beautiful climate. Many workshops are conducted gender ratio is 3:1 boy girl ratio you can't expect any girls in mechanical though.

Hostel Facilities

5

Yes rooms are well furnished with a double cot bed, table chairs, lan and wifi connection 24/7 and bathrooms are also well maintained with everyday clean. However rooms are cleaned every week once so have to keep them till the end of the week. And food in mess is home after home. Tastes goof and every you will have food fest and you can expect so many dishes with different tastes.

Alumni/Alumna

Many students placed in good companies and many went abroad for higher studies. Seniors are friendly, helped us in every aspect. And am not lying but 0% ragging is allowed, so freshers can move freely among there seniors. Very serious actions are taken against ragging. Overall a great university of different interests.

Exam Structure

You will having 2 test as TEST I and TEST II for 16 and 17 marks each and a final cumulative exam exam for 40marks. Apart from you will be appearing for 2 quizzes 5 marks each and assignments are conducted but the marks specified do not apply for courses, it completely depends on lecturer and his decision on how to conduct the exam. Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
