Remarks

The only bad thing in our college is we have a small play-ground not so big. The management is pretty old and experienced and hence the college is well maintained. Good thing about our college is that a student can directly interact with the faculty members about any doubt or issue related to their subject and the faculty members are also always ready to help the students.

Entrance Preview

JEE mains - 191 JEE advance I opted for this college as it is in the center of the city near to my house and also the reputation of AES (Ahmedabad education society) in this field is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

So ICT is mixture of Computer and Electronics & communications. We learn computer languages like C, C++, Java. We also learn data structures. database management. In EC we learn embedded systems, signals, basic electric circuits. Here we also learn communication skills, ethics, economics like subjects. Overall it is nice course to learn.

Internships Opportunities

My college is still new and is only 3. 5 years old. Still no companies have come and offered ant internships. Still there is a start up called venture studio by Ahmedabad university in which our students are offered internships.

Placement Experience

Only Some placements have taken place in our college as our 1st batch is going to pass out this year. Our 1st batch is of 60 students out of which almost 25 students got placement till now. the highest pay was around 20000 rupees.

College Events

There are various events like aaghaz(cultural festival), also a 2 or 3 day sports festival is celebrated. Many festivals like Dhuleti, Janmastmi, is celebrated in our college. Also a trip once during the vacations is been organized by cultural committee.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is slightly expensive. The fees for one semester is 66 thousand rupees which does not include hostel and canteen fees. We have to pay fees at the start of the semester. The hostel fees is around 12000 thousand per month including the electricity charges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the scholarships are been offered to the students according to their performance in their previous semesters. It may be half of the fees or 25% of it.

Campus Life

Our college comes under ahmedabad university so many competitions are held in inter college as well as inter university are held like dance, singing, musical instruments, debate, elecution, drawing, poster, sports events, grafiti and many more.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are quite ok. we have large rooms which are shared by 2 students. There is a cupboard in it the bathroom is not attached and it is common but it is there on every floor of our hostel.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes there is no ragging in our college and yes the seniors in our college are very co operative and they help us in every manner and as i mentioned that my college is just 3. 5 years old so there is no alumni created till but yes there is an Ahmedabad university alumni.

Exam Structure

The exams are planned by the instructor of the course. Mostly we have mid sems, the final sems and some internals. We have weekly lab exams and weekly lab submisons which make the schedule somewhat hectic but its fun doing projects.

The faculty of my college is all well experienced and have good teaching skills. nice thing is we also have teaching associates other than the faculty which help us in solving our doubts and in our lab and project.

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

FROM 6 TH SEMESTER THE STUDENTS BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT THE COMPANY THAT CAME FOR CAMPUS PALCEMENTS ARE INFOSYS,IBM,TCS ETC. THE HIGHEST PALCEMENT IS IN THIS YEAR IS 25 LAKH 95 PERCENT STUDENTS GET PLACED AFTER THE DEGREE IS WILL BEACOME A CORPORATE SLAVE

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

all faculty member is good give the best lecture.it is government college so all faculty come in the college
in the LD college placement is super till now because most of company same as other private college
infrastrure is quite good here all side greenary and animals all other.and many social activity happend

faulity is also very good the help us to learn very well

the hostel food is not good the students are very unsatisfed

the campus can also plan a better gym with our fees collected

The campus life is great as the atmosphere it consquires is way better than the three experiences I have had at Maharaja sayaji rao university of vadodara, Vishwakarma government Engineering college and Parul University respectively. The atmosphere
The atmosphere cultivates studying and friendly competition Between the peers,it doesn't quench that competitive Nature and rather it amplifies it, also the boy girl ratio is good.
The faculties are the best, and it's not just me all the students feel that way as some faculty are from IITS and some are very experienced and have had decades of research experience in that field.

Dislikes

I think here you focus a lot more on studies rather than extra curricular activities so I think that can be improved
There are too many lectures in a day, conpared to my friends in svit I have around 2 hours worth more of lectures
The wifi and connectivity and there being counsellors is stated but it not implemented intensively

Placement Experience:

The placement are one of the best in Gujarat for chemical engineering as the average package is on the higher side, at 6,50,000 and the highest package has reached 16,00,000. - students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement - some companies that have visited are Reliance Atul Bear L&T G.S.F.C Etc - around 70% of the batch was placed last year. - my plan is to prepare for Gate examination after/around my graduation.

the discipline of VVPEC and strictness towards academic studies , ensures focused environment
the college encourages students through substantial scholarship of 25,000 INR for top student in each class to motivate.
well-equiped library facilities provide resources for research and learning

Dislikes

lack of emphasis on sports initiatives , less opportunities for physical activity and team spirit.
stringent policies limiting cultural events and less vibrancy in campus lifestyle
very limited option in canteen and limited space to hangout with friends .

Placement Experience:

from semester 6th , placements drive is begun talking about my course , Biotechnology engineering , there was NO PLACEMENT DRIVES. But our hod will definetly help in getting great jobs according to your requirement. And help in GATE exam preparation is very minimal , so one shall prepare it by themselves.

The campus life is so good and there are many clubs
As the faculty of technology and engineering MSU is best colleges so good placement opportunities
Infrastructure is also good labs are well maintained

Dislikes

Benches are very old and some are very poor for sitting it
Very shoretst ground as compared to other prestigious collage and also in other faculties
And i personally feel, recess time is so small period, students can not manage

The college accepts scores of JEE mains as well as ACPC (GUJCET + 12th board marks). usually 50% sets for both quotas. 50% of seats through ACPC are occupied by the state counseling process, and 50% of seats through JEE are done by the college itself, in that, they invite for PI but I don't think it matters much, your JEE score will matter in that case.
