Remarks

I took an entrance exam called AP -Eamcet. To avail of admission and scholarship benefits, we have to qualify and secure a rank. I applied using common APSCHE counseling. We can also get admission using category -B (donation ), but the fee is high and scholarship is not available. Reservation is as per the Andhra Pradesh category quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am very much interested in the design study. Civil engineering is a creative course. The course curriculum for us was not good but it is updated in the 2020 scheme. A mentor is allowed for every 15 students. The exams are fairly difficult. Much of the senior faculty have been retired. But young faculty are also enthusiastic and teach well. The qualification of the faculty is M.tech/ Ph.d.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is offered along with a job for a few companies. The average stipend is RS 10,000. My friends got an internship in NHAI for two weeks. They have got a stipend of Rs 8000. Presently I am doing a project on soil stabilization. Preliminary tests are conducted, I need to test them using admixtures in the upcoming semester.

Placement Experience

Most of the placements are through IT companies. Core jobs are very rare. The most prominent companies offering placements are TCS, Wipro, cognizant, mind tree, Accenture, etc. The highest package is 11 LPA. the average is 4.5 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Recently the college fee was reduced to Rs 70,000 according to government norms. mostly the scholarship is given by the Ap government through jnanavbhumi vidya deevena . Mostly the jobs are from IT companies . Average stipend for internship is R s 10,000.

Campus Life

Before covid -19 our college was very active with competitions, fests, quests, and technical hunts. Every two years college day is grandly celebrated. Badminton and cricket are mostly played. An indoor stadium is there .T&P, Bhuvanavijayam, CAD clubs are the most active ones.

Hostel Facilities

Boys' hostel is brand new With all the amenities needed. Hot water is provided for a bath. Coldwater is provided for drinking. The food is overall good. Only vegetarian is served. Evening snacks and milk/tea/coffee is provided .

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

My experience at Vignan's Institute Of Information Technology

Likes

The college have good learning environment. We have spacious classrooms with digital boards and pc, multiple playgrounds, seminar halls,digital labs etc.I like the digital labs because we gain our pratical experience.
we have a central library which has digital library in it. In exams most of the time i will spent in library. Because it has peaceful environment. The rules of library is also good. We need to swip our id to enter the library.
The next thing i like in my college is the temple. We have a temple in our college. in our free time, we spent our time at temple. And the most important thing is the college try very hard to get the students placed in reputated company.

Dislikes

Main drawback of our college is, we have only small canteen. Everyone doesnot like it. sometimes we need to eat our food by standing due to less number of tables but the food is good.
we have food court and canteen, these two are small. But our college looked into this. Now constructing the big one.
Other than these things. I donot have any things i donot like about my college. The college road is not good to our college but now our college sloving this issue also.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is very good. We have excellent training placement cell. The faculty of the placement cell are very supportive and friendly with the students. They use their network to bring the reputated companies to the campus. The maintain the well bond with the companies. around 90% of the students are placed every year from every branch. Remaing 10% students are may be with blocks or any some other reasons. If the student doesnot get any placement in the campus, the campus offers the some jobs to the students.

My review on my college

Likes

Most teachers explain subjects clearly and supports us in academics and projects.
Our college provides labs, sports, and extracurricular activities ehich helps students to improve their skills

Dislikes

The hostel Maintenance and food quality need improvement.
Sometimes there are issues with washrooms and cleanliness in classrooms.
A few lab computers do not work properly.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent and improving every year. Students usually become eligible for camous placements from 7th to 8th semester. The average package is around 5 to 6LPA, while some students packages are higher based on their skills and performance.

Overall nice experience

Likes

Good environment in the campus and hostels
Security is too good for the girl,girls safety also nice .
Course also ever worth based on the your branchs

Dislikes

Too much restrictions and hostel warden are to bad
Food is not worth for what your paying,less time for mess
Some faculty are too good and sum of the faculty are to bad , there don't even the topics also

Course Curriculum Overview:

For mid exam 1:30mins the exam will conduct,and for semister approximate 4 hr, for sem it's difficult compare to the mid exam .in exam some subject ask real time example.some mandatory subject is there for ever department.

Classrooms are well cleaned, and well maintained.
Atmosphere around our college is very good And peaceful
The anti ragging system in our college is very good compared to other colleges.

Dislikes

Management in our college is not good, if mid or sem exams are near, they were again and again asking to clear the due fee.
Some faculty in our college is not trained properly
Placements also not good in our college, the are projecting the fake placements posters in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually I had interest in electronics, that forced me to join this course in this college. The curriculum was well prepared. In our course they need improve in technical training aspect.the timings of exams is not good because they are conducting the exams immediately after lunch, so it will causes students to sleepy.

A College Boy Story

Likes

I like the support from the faculty and they support us in every work and task
they provide the internships more and more from the prestiougus institutes
the campus is good and the infastructure is very well

Dislikes

the food at the canteen is wrost as excepected but now it better sometimes
the faculty is less expirenced it is some most one that i dislikes
the fee structure for the students is more thinh i disliked they make more stress

form the semester of 3rd year and 2nd semester and our college contains amazon , wipro , infosys , accenture , cummins , tech mahindra , cred are so many startups and the highest package is 45lpa and the average is 4 lpa per person

The most liked place in our college the structure of the admin block.
The park is very beautiful for looking around the college.
There is a vast library for students to study.

Dislikes

There are only some fests are conducted in the college, we need more
The college timings are not proper some days.

My Experience at Vignan

Likes

Pleasent Atmosphere and close to city too.
Better support for internships, workshops and certifications.
Encouragement to develop innovative projects and guidelines.

Dislikes

The road route from college to duvvada railway station is a mess.
The college hostel is not upto mark. Feels High price.
Lack of more industrial exposure for the students to learn from the field itself.
