Remarks

The candidates who had qualified jee mains are applicable to enter in this course. The rank was from 130k to 145k for obc category in the last round. The admission were done on the basis of UPSEE counselling. The application fees was 1100 INR. For improvements, I am hoping that this time the ranks doesn't go on decreasing from round 1 to the last round as happened in my case

Course Curriculum Overview

This is the right time for data science as I believe in future it has a lot of scope to work in. Since this is my first year, the faculty I have came across is nice and helpful at the same time. It has a lot of qualified teachers out of which some have come from IITs also. Every teacher has a PhD degree in their respective subject and above also. Our semester has been reduced to just 3 months instead of six. The term exams are from 23rd March 2022 and they are certainly medium in the difficulty level.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Form sixth semester, the students are eligible to apply for company placements. Many companies who visits here are mass recruiting companies out of which TCS (TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES) is one such company. Highest package is of 30,25000 INR and average package is above 400000 INR. About 90-95% of all CS/IT students get placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of the course is approximately 140000 INR. For the candidates who have took admission under jee mains, there is no scholarship and yes this year we didn't get the scholarship from the government side as for that our branch should be updated in the Lok Kalyan Vibhag Lucknow. The registrar said to us that they have already applied for it but they were lying. They have just added this branch to get more and more admissions and make money.

Campus Life

3.5

There have been many fests organized by the students of different-different departments. Like the CSE department conducted the fest named 'Daksh' and IT department also conducted a two day fest, I forgot the name of it. Electronics department is also organizing a fest named AAGAAZ from 7th of March. The college consists of many clubs as well out of which LOOP is very famous as it is a club of coders which has students who are five stars coders on different different platforms.

Other Applied Colleges

Jss Academy of technical education | Btech

Expected branch was not getting

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
