Remarks
The admission process was guided through AKTU. The students were supposed to enter counselling through the JEE main scores. Thus, the cut-off merit was released for every category (General / OBC / SC/ ST/ AF/ FW), particularly for four rounds. Each round had a different cutoff. I was selected in GCET in 2nd round.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I was keen towards maths and statistics in programming. The college has well set of faculty with 1 faculty each 50 students. The faculty are well qualified and graduated. The exams were continuous and rote. Mostly CAE and Quizes, round the semester. The main challenge was managing time for the exams and periodic testd
Internships Opportunities
The intership program takes place through technical clubs. Girls Summer Script, Internshala etc. are common internship programme available. These internship programme aren't organised by college committee.
Placement Experience
The campus placement companies are TCS, Wipro, etc. It starts from 6th semester. The last year highest package known is Rs 300000 and average package goes Rs 600000. I as an individual plan to go for Mtech through GATE.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around Rs 1,25,000 per year for most of the courses. This excludes examination fees, Library fees and event fees, which includes around Rs 10000, per year. The scholarship available here is through Central Government and State Government scholarship programme.
Campus Life
The college is rich in cultural events and fest. Let it be Unifest, Rotract events, Branch fest, Genesis etc just add a lot to your college life. Most of these fest are conducted at end of semesters. The course books are only available in the college library for the deadline of 15 days. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors and whiteboards for computer science students. The labs aren't that good but suffice the basic need. For sports, the college lacks a lot of infrastructures. There's a small pull for Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton and Basketball. There are college clubs like Loop, Rotract, Entharan etc which conduct the year seminar and educational events
Hostel Facilities
The campus hostel: Provides one seater, two seater and three seater rooms with charges Rs 11000, Rs 1000 and Rs 9000 per month respectively. This includes Mess food( 4 day hours), Zym, Wifi, Sports, Mopping, Electricity and Water bills. There's the common washroom, and really pathetic. The rooms are small and wifi is usually not at the proper speed.
