Why to join Galgotias

To get entry into this wonderful college there is an entrance exam called JEE mains conducted by NTA. Then when has to fill UPSEE counselling conducted by AKTU. One has to score well to get this no.1 college in UP.

I did select this course because computer science engineering is a trading course currently and due to modernisation and technology is dominating the world, there is a large job scope here as well compared to other branches of engineering. In each class of BTech there were approximately 60 students. Most of the teachers were either done MTech or even done PhD so they knew but few teachers of South we had communication issues with them. Exams are timely as 3 continuous assessment, 1 internal practical exam, 1 external and one theory final exam.

The internship was not offered through companies, in 2nd year internship was mainly through skills and an Aicte on the technology of AWS, cloud, machine learning..etc. But students can find the internship of their interest as well and you that. As I always did that because I was interested in coding and information technology.

I will agree that the placement in my course is quite good. Almost more than 90 to 95% of the student in CSE have been placed, but I can't I cannot the same I cannot say about the other branches. The average package was 8 LPA per annum. The highest this year I have seen was 32 LPA by Amazon. All mass recruiters like cognizant, Accenture, dx, TCS etc. And even MI, Vivo also visited the campus. Placement is very good here.

All the branches have the same fee structure of 110000 per annum. One can apply for the scholarship in the UP Government portal where the scholarship is provided to all the students who have given the JEE mains and studying in the private colleges for pursuing various courses so one can easily get the scholarship.

The college had a large number of clubs as graphics, comics video, games sports. I was myself in three clubs graphics, computer science and video gaming. There are a lot of extracurricular activities. We have an annual fest named "Unifest". About the library, they had quite a number of books and there are three libraries on the campus of different schools such as business, engineering etc. They have even added an e-laboratory now. Classes were not air conditioned even when it was mentioned in the prospectus so it was a little bit lie but all the infrastructure is very good. The college has a green lush campus with mountains and beautiful buildings.

The hostel was good but the food was quite bad. I did stay in the first year at the campus hostel and the facilities of yoga, gaming room, lounge, study room as everything was good. But the mess food was very bad I had lived from class 12th in a hostel but there was but this was worse. You can register for the hostel directly at the time of admission in the office.
